Why make the redundant first letters? (S-symbol)s & (B-symbol)b? Why not just use the symbols as the letters they represent, get a less stretched out button as well.

The colours were't really a conscious decision on my part.  I just mimicked the design so that they could appear next to eachother and people would know at a glance that they're similar options.

My gf likes the purple and yellow and pointed out that they are complimentary colours, but I don't have a strong preference either way.

As far as the colours and design go, why not have a design contest?  Could be fun...

I like the yellow and personally think you should stick to those colors in all branding. It good advertising sense.

Hehe don't be afraid to offer criticism, it's fine! I'm tending to almost agree, the white on purple seems to be a little more "professional". When creating the existing one I didn't want to look too much like the Bitcoin logo (ala IXcoin) but if people with better art skills are solving the problem I'm sure we can get something unique and white happening. I would also like to add that i think the symbol looks much better white. i am not trying to imply you should change it. i just personally think it looks more professional. Excellent job on the button Smiley

For some reason I really like the white $ much better than the yellow. It compliments the purple coin much better.

I will be rendering some Solidcoin designs on my free time hopefully soon, so that we can have a BTC "Grade Coin"

I made a 'Solidcoin accepted here' button for merchants who want one in the same style as Bitcoin.

I think I forgot to reply to your email about this! But thanks very much for doing it, looks great.
