ok thanks, i think the 3 cards should be good then, right now on my crapy laptop i can mine 4 to 5 block before i over heat, like 5 minutes lol
With all these alt coins coming out, when you down load the wallet, does anyone just start digging? err mining solo? or does everyone just jump in a pool?
And if you are wanting to solo mine what is the min recommened hashrate?
I only ask because i am going to build a miner next week

If you have a very powerful rig (2000kh/s or more), you can solo mine in the beginning for an hour or two. If you have a moderate rig (1000kh/s or less), you can solo the first 15-30 minutes of the launch. Yes, it's sick I know.
