you can solo mine through antpool.com and save yourself grief.
But you will be burning a fair bit of power for something not likely to pay you squat ever...
Most solo miners run sticks or routers just for that odd chance at a few pennies a day.

Hi guys!

I´m mining all sorts of alts. Ive really tried to get going to solomine some of them but i had no luck. All atempts ending up that my miner reports is "dead".

Ive followed every step looking at this guide:

You need a running Wallet with coin.conf:
server=1
listen=1
daemon=1
gen=0  (row not necessary - 1 for CPU mining)
genproclimit=0  (row not necessary - "n" Kernel you will use for CPU mining)
rpcuser=you
rpcpassword=your-password
rpcallowip=192.168.Huh.*  (your IP - * for all Units in your Class C Network)
rpcport=21080
port=11080

For mining with Antminer:
The problem is to give the Antminer the Coin Address!
Here is the Trick:
Pool 1   = http://Your.IP.Your.IP:21080 --btc-address yourbitcoinaddress
Pool1 Worker   = you
Pool1 password   = your-password

this guide is taken from a site that mines aurumcoin. I set  rpcallowip as my miner? or where my wallet is (my pc)?

any hints?
