Hi I'm trying to do the same thing. Set up client through windows but can't get the antminer to connect.

My clients IP is 192.168.1.9

antminer config

url 192.168.1.9:18332

any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks

So... since no one has any suggestions I'm trying a few things myself. I've noticed in the documentation that outbound connections are limited to 8 in the client. I am compiling terracoin from source with this set to 64. Hopefully this will allow me to get more than the 14 or so connections I have been getting.

I'm not sure if this will help with getting my found blocks out there. But it would stand to reason that the more clients that see it the more likely it will get accepted and built upon.

I will update back here once I test this.

So its been 20 hours now and my terracoin client is showing any blocks found.

Looking at the miner status you can see that it says 6 blocks found. Further... I checked the log file and it looks like all 6 of those blocks were orphaned.

Is there a reason I would get so many blocks orphaned? Maybe my connection is not good enough?

Thanks,

Hey guys,

I'm trying to solo mine some sha256 alt coins with some new antminers...

My specs:

1 antminer running at 200gh/s. 170gh/s or so seems to be directed at terracoin via my setup. The other 30gh/s registers on my backup terracoin pool and my backup bitcoin pool.

My config file:

server=1
rpcuser=A
rpcpassword=1
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=9221

maxconnections=256

I have 15+ connections at any given time on the terracoin network.

My results via antminer dashboard:

As you can see from the pic... I've gotten a ton of DiffR# and GetWorks...

I've also been mining for 7 hours at the time of this screen shot. 10 hours actually now ( with no block found and 1 extra rejected).

So what I want to know is if I am doing anything wrong? Do these numbers make sense and am I just being unlucky? I should have found a terracoin block at about 4 or 5 hours.... Are these numbers acceptable or do they tell us something is wrong?

Thanks!
Andrew
