Taxes are the payment of tribute from slaves as in the olden days and from this you can not escape even if you go to 3 jobs or open your business, then a person still has to pay taxes Sad

If a country has high taxes then you need to learn not to pay them. In any legislation there are niches that allow you to do this. Bitcoin for example. It's not just a currency, and the possibility of leaving the government without financing. Then they just think, and cut taxes to revive the economy.

How can you avoid paying taxes using Bitcoin? You can hide your income in Bitcoin and refuse to pay the taxes. But that is illegal. If the authorities find out about it, then you can be imprisoned. The only perfect solution to avoid taxes is to get an economical citizenship in nations such as St Kitts, Dominica, or Antigua, where there is no income tax.

I don't have any problems with paying high taxes as ong as i'm seeing it being put to good use instead of some greedy politician's pockets. If you're frustrated about paying high taxes, then getting a second job would probably frustrate you more since you're going to paying more high taxes then.

Many people complain of high taxes, when there is an easy solution they're too stupid to think of.  Get a second job lazy ass.
Maybe even a third one. Why stop at only 2? Who needs rest, sleep, family, friends, life and stuff like that...

Hmmm... this is exactly what the bankers and the politicians want you to do. Work for a slave like 16 hours a day without any rest, all the while paying your monthly mortgage payments to the bank. Till your death, you will remain indebted.

I'm a smoker and I never had so crazy ideas, maybe I wouldn't comment something like this but previous thread that I read was from the same guy :" Africa should be nuked, all evil originated there." He asked "What are you smoking?" Because he is different from other smokers. You say smokers are calm and have lots of brilliant ideas. Maybe he's different, he smokes different types of cigarettes, which is why he's different, and the above questions arise.

That is the problem of anybody doing regular jobs. We could not do something about it unless your government amends your law on taxation.

I totally disagree with that. If you find another job, it will certainly charge taxes as well. Let's just face it, we can't escape tax no matter what LOL.

Thanks, i didn't know solutions to daily problems were so easy in this world. I'll try your idea.

It is not practical. If you work for 18-20 hours a day, then your health will deteriorate (even if you are super healthy). After a few months you may need hospitalization. Even if you escape from permanent effects, the treatment will cost you a fortune.

In some country - an employee is required to work 8 - 9hrs per day.
And your solution to prevent the high tax is getting a second job. HuhHuhHuh?

I know people who work up to 14 hours a day in India (and that too for 6 days a week). And the tragic thing is that even after working for so much time, they only get around $150 per month (or around $1,800 per year). If you don't have the necessary qualifications and the unique skills, then it is really difficult to find a good job, at last in the third world nations.

Many people complain of high taxes, when there is an easy solution they're too stupid to think of.  Get a second job lazy ass.

Wouldn't call this an easy solution. If you're working and you can't afford basic commodities like food, shelter, electricity or running water, that means the taxation might be indeed too high. Taxation shouldn't be like mob racketeering. That's why there are income minimums in many countries, bellow which people are not taxed. Of course then comes the problem with people declaring smaller income in order to not only pay less, but sometimes no taxes at all...

If you're working and you can't afford basic commodities, then that may also mean that your job is not a well paying one. So another option would be to learn new skills and apply for a new job after that.
You are not right. In many countries there is a big lack of jobs. Can you remember how in the 90s you have in Russia many people who have had one or more degrees in order to survive he went to work in the market and are still working.

If I remember correctly, there were a lot of jobs in Russia back then. But the problem was that the salaries became worthless due to the devaluation of the Ruble. Scientists and physicians were earning just around $100 per month, and they were forced to find a second job, such as working as a driver or laborer.

Look dude, you have to understand that it's about the amoubt youbtake home from your hard work that suffers from high taxes. If you get another job, which definitely will also be taxed, then you're working doubly hard to pay more taxes. It's not about being lazy, it's about getting the proper salary/amount that you've worked for.

Whatever. Nobody should be required to work much more than 50 hours a week. Life is too short for that shit. Thank goodness for crypto currencies.. it's turned a middle class working stiff into a very comfortable working stiff.   I work rotating 12 hour shifts and have today and tomorrow off. I'm going to enjoy myself!  I try to avoid overtime when I can, which has cost me cash in the past, but none of that matters now, I don't need overtime anymore.  If we had single payer healthcare in the US I'd consider quitting my job to pursue other opportunities, but when you quit a job with good health coverage in the US, you're basically screwed.

Not all countries can get at least one job, not to mention the second. Here the question is not laziness, but in the organization of workplaces it is desirable with worthy payment.

I can't tell if you are joking and attempting to parody or caricature someone's beliefs.. however taking you on the assumption that you are not purposefully being an idiot; How does working more affect the rate at which you are taxed, in a positive manner? (Spoiler Alert: It doesn't)

In most 1st world countries, the more money you make the higher tax-rate you pay, unless you have some special position that enables you to manipulate rules or create loopholes for yourself.

So you want us to work for 20 hours a day, and then pay a tax rate of around 70% on whatever we earn, right? In my country, if we add up all the direct and indirect taxes, then it comes to around 60-70%. And the biggest comedy is that only around 2% of the population is paying income tax. The remainder is living off these 2%.

I think we somehow share the same problem. There are some differences, however.

Here in my country, the great majority, around 98%--poor and the middle class income earners--are working hard day and night just to make ends meet. Of course, it still ends up lacking all the time. But these are the ones that really pay taxes. It is from these hard-earned money coming from the sweat and labor of poor and average income earners that the government is being supported by its, well, low expenditures because the rest go to the officials' pockets.

The joke is this: the remaining 2% are earning way way more than the 98% combined without even lifting a finger, but they do not pay taxes. If they do, these are small pennies coming from their huge businesses. And the government is supporting them big time.

Opps, I feel like it was not a joke after all. It made me angry.  Angry Angry

From what understand, governments have this scheme since they need the private sector to make jobs, since government can't employ everyone. The problem is that people are just being paid pennies. It's should at least go up as cost of living increases over time.

Basicly people are lazy , it's natural !
If people didn't want to pay high tax, maybe it's time to turn your money into bitcoin

But to convert your fiat cash to Bitcoin, you need to pay a small commission. On top of that, the government can easily track the fiat transaction, unless it is being done with physical cash. So converting from fiat to BTC is not a solution to the tax issue.

The problem is that first you can't buy everything you need for bitcoins, and once you start to change them for cash you immediately find yourself in a field of view of the fiscal authorities. In the second you can't earn enough bitcoins to be not visible to the fiscal authorities.

What if I like being a lazy ass...

In all seriousness though it depends on what you call high tax, if you mean a 99% tax then a second job doesn't help much but if you mean 10% is high then you have a point.

Yeah bud this isn't going to work in the least, the reason that people complain about taxes is simply because of how much money they're going to be taking from whatever you make. So if you're going to be making more money from another job you may even go into a higher tax bracket (IF IN THE UNITED STATES) and be taxed more on what made it into that tax bracket.

You're not going to save money by working more, you're still going to get taxed. Gosh, I see why some people just aren't able to make it in the REAL WORLD when people like OP come out and say this sort of dumb shit. Don't call people lazy either, dam you're not the brightest of the bunch.

In certain countries (such as Russia and Belarus), they have a flat income tax without any slabs. And the tax rates are quite low, with a rate of 13% in Russia and 12% in Belarus. But in my opinion, there should be slabs. Else the poor will be sharing the same burden as the rich.

You see sir, that's really not going to do much. People already work full time for really low take home pay after getting ganked by the feds. It's not like having a second job would do much, since like everyone already mentioned, that's gonna get taxed as well.

I don't think this person has ever had a job. It's pretty obvious you are going to get taxed anytime you work on America, if anything this will put you in a different tax bracket like you said. The extra cash would probably be really cool to have though Smiley

You could work under the table, but if the income is enough to make a difference around the house, the government is going to get their piece of the action.

I don't have two jobs, but I work for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Does that count? I get 2 off-days every month, and if I am absent from work for more than 2 days every month, then I lose a part of my salary. And it is not very easy to get another job (imagine working for 24 hours a day), as the jobs here are very low paying, and the competition is very tough.

Excuse me? Did you just called people lazy for complaining about a tax rate that meant they keep paying more and more while they're not getting wage increase? Have you even seen charts on how wages has basically stagnated? People are already working they're ass out for most of the day for low take home pay and you suggest they just work more, which will get taxed as well anyway?

I get it, you think you're one of the 1%. Lucky you then.

You know they will tax the second job as well, yes?

Ahahaha! But yeah, those jobs wouldn't get taxed coz they're illegal.  Grin

What? You work for government as a revenuer? All two jobs does is places you into a higher tax bracket.

Cool

Sad but true. It's like you are being punished for not being on welfare. No wonder there are people suggesting to just get rid of the brackets for personal income tax and just have everyone pay a flat rate.

In the US if you work 5 days a week on a good paying job, the first one day goes to Taxes.
If you work a second job and earn twice as much now, they will take two days of work pay.

In the United States, the tax rates are much lower than those in the European Union. In Germany, they pay almost twice as much tax as an average individual pays in the United States. Compare the prices of gasoline in both the countries. In Germany it is almost twice as expensive, thanks to all sort of taxes.

It's not an solution. In mostly country people are working 8 hours per day, second job means that they would need to work 18 hours a day. I would call it a slavery. People wouldn't have enough time to rest, sleep, spend time with their family and etc
In my country some people besides their job also works as freelancers. They can't earn second wage, but few hundreds euro is still not bad.

The ideal solution would be to do two jobs, but to declare the income from only one job to the tax authorities. It is quite risky, and if you are caught then you may be needed to spend prison time in addition to a huge monetary fine imposed on you.
