Electrum is very picky with spaces and line breaks, make sure you don't press enter while writing all your words and make sure there's only a single space between words.

IIRC, the number of words in the seed have changed between versions of Electrum, if nothing works you can try to go back to the old version you had when you created the seed. Although, seeds should be backwards compatible.

I'm going to try writing the seed in the command line "electrum  restore" to see what error I get. I'm still though trying to install binaries. I get this error:
Error: Cannot read config file. /Users/~/.electrum

I'm wiggling and shaking the thing to get it to work now

- snip -
couldn't recover my electrum wallet Sad

The next button stays grey
- snip -

How many words do you have?

Maybe you accidentally missed a word?

Whether or not you can recover will depend on what is wrong.

If you are only missing a single word, it should be possible to iterate through all possible words and find it.

If you simply mis-spelled a word, then you should be able to compare your words to the word list and figure out which one is mis-spelled.

I've 13 words, and the seed is generated by the same electrum version: 2.6.4
