Fairly sure that Armory will not delete the wallets if you uninstall it. So you should be able to simply install the new version over the current version.

In any case, you should have the paper backup from when you created the wallet... it'll have the "root key" (18 groups of 4 characters). If you have that, you can simply uninstall the current Armory... install the new one and if the wallet doesn't automatically show, you can restore the wallet using the "root key" backup and the "Import or Restore wallet" button.

If you don't already have the paper backup: "Wallet properties" -> "Backup this wallet" -> "Make paper backup"

Alright, thanks. How would I go about transferring my old wallet over to the new client?

Ok, you have a very old version of Armory. Unfortunately it is incompatible with Bitcoin Core v0.16

Go here and download the latest version (0.96.4) of Armory: https://btcarmory.com/0.96.4-release/

For future reference "bitcoinarmory.com" is the old site... It is no longer updated. You need to use btcarmory.com

Armory does say "connected" in the bottom right corner, along with the current number of blocks, too. My Armory version is 0.96-beta-a3d01aa722. My Bitcoin Core version is v0.16.0.

Does Armory actually say "connected" in green text with the current number of blocks at the bottom right corner of the Armory window? If not, it's possible that it isn't actually finding your Bitcoin Core data directory properly.

What versions of Bitcoin Core and Armory do you have installed?

Can you please post your Armory logs? (armorylog.txt and dblog.txt... copy/paste the contents to www.pastebin.com and then copy the generated pastebin link here)

I could do with some help with Armory as I'm a bit confused with what I've done wrong. I've installed Bitcoin Armory and Bitcoin Core and I've attempted to link the two, but I installed Bitcoin Core to a custom directory as my C: drive doesn't have enough storage capacity for the blockchain.

The blockchain is stored on my D: drive under D:\Bitcoin and I have the same directory input into the Bitcoin Home Dir: field within Armory.
However, despite this Armory shows that my balance is 0BTC even though it reports it is connected and up-to-date. The wallet should have a balance, but shows none on Armory.
When I check on BitRef the addresses assigned to the wallet, do in fact have a balance.

I should also mention that I am fairly new to anything Bitcoin related and so any help would be greatly appreciated.
