Electrum logs are in the data directory, if enabled. Tor's logs are in Tor Browser's settings, if you're running it.

I wasn't running Tor. I thought it wasn't needed. Now that I opened both, it works. Thanks!

Nope. Still the same with that command.
Check the Tor and Electrum Logs.

Farewell LEO, you *will* be missed.
I don't have all I need to test it now, but... does Electrum on Tails work on ToR or on clearnet? Because if it's on ToR you can take a look on where it connects to.

I tried it with port 9150 and with both 50001 & 50002. It doesn't work for me. Could the fault be my version? (v4.0.4)
I checked your command again. I'm using this command: electrum-4.1.4.exe -s hsmiths4fyqlw5xw.onion:50002:s -p socks5:127.0.0.1:9150.

I'm not sure if it works for 4.0.4 as well, I don't remember any changes done to that. Do try it and let me know.

Try port 9150? Electrum works with 9150 but not 9050, believe the latter is for the daemon.

Try port 9150? Electrum works with 9150 but not 9050, believe the latter is for the Tor daemon, instead of the browser.

I confirm that hsmiths4fyqlw5xw.onion:50002 is accessible.

I have been following this guide: https://electrum.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tor.html

First of all, the link of the .onion servers isn't working, but that's okay as long as the server they use in their example works (electrums3lojbuj.onion).

I tried:
Code:
electrum-4.0.4.exe -1 -s electrums3lojbuj.onion:50001:t -p socks5:localhost:9050

It didn't work.

I then tried the second option which is connecting to multiple servers, but the main one will be an onion:
Code:
electrum-4.0.4.exe -s electrums3lojbuj.onion:50001:t -p socks5:localhost:9050

It didn't work either. I then searched for .onion servers just to ensure that it's not electrums3lojbuj.onion the faulty one. Found some, but they also didn't work:
Code:
wsw6tua3xl24gsmi264zaep6seppjyrkyucpsmuxnjzyt3f3j6swshad.onion
3smoooajg7qqac2y.onion
hsmiths4fyqlw5xw.onion

Am I doing something wrong? I had faced the same issue around 5-6 months ago, but didn't give pay much attention.
