i can't have dots, i've read a few threads, and i still don't understand

There are many threads facing the problem with using tables.
One example now, i'll find more. I see that the problem happens here in the first example too. See the second link, there are no problems with the words. Yeah I also find it quite hard to make the table look nice, the spacing always get messed up. Tried the below seems to be a little better:

What's the theory? What do I have to do? As soon as you put words in first TD, its' borked by words i mean "words with spaces" unlike "wordswithouspaces" What's the proper way or is this just stupid bug? also when you Preview, it looks fine, you Save - borked Jump to:
