The good news is that Today 24th January, the Ozone chain team has made the 4th round payment as they committed.

I am marking this topic as solved and removing the trust feedback from the Ozone Chain Bitcointalk account and I will ask Fatofork to remove/change the feedback also if you feel it's needed.

It's 14 Nov, still 1 day left for 15th. I want to notify you that Karthik kept his promise and paid the first batch of the bounty hunters and my dues today. Hopefully, the next batches also will be paid as he promised.

Hmm, that's right it looks like extortion. But I wanted to close this deal somehow. Since he is the CTO of the project and cares about his reputation + promised to pay I gave him the chance. Let's see when the 15th comes.

Seems like they are still playing the delaying tactic as they already did, asking in the meanwhile to remove al negative comments. Why so? The negative comments, as they call them, are there for a reason and they not respecting deal terms is that reason. Once they will do the right thing the comments will reflect their actions , not their words.

OK. I changed my tag to neutral for now, but you should have explained to them that they are not the ones who can set the terms. They're the ones who messed up in the first place.

Guys good news is that I had a long conversation with Karthik and He promised me that they will start sending payment from 15th Nov (batch-wise).

For now, I am keeping this thread locked and marking it as solving.  those who have tagged the Ozone Chain official bitcointalk account @bullrun2020bro, @FatFork please consider removing it for now. I will come back again after the 15th Nov with the updates. If they fail to pay I will open this accusation again.

I figure it'll be somewhat ineffective and won't bring the desired outcome. sujonali1819 had a chat with him, he's already fully aware that there is an open scam accusation against his project, and he choose to ignore that. Your gesture is very much appreciated, though.

I sent a message to Karthik Sakthivel via my LinkedIn premium account about an hour and a half ago today, requesting him to pay the dues to the bounty manager and bounty hunters who dedicated their time and effort to promote this project and to resolve the issue related to the Ozone Chain project. However, I have noticed that he has read the message, as shown in the attached image, but he has not responded yet.



I feel sorry for all the people who have been promoting this project for weeks and were surprised by this dishonest behavior from the Ozone Chain team, who completely ignored the payment as if these people were working for free to serve them. I believe that, as you pointed out, their account on the forum must be tagged so that investors do not also fall victim to this project, whose team has ruined its reputation with this act.

If there is still no response within 48 hours then it is time to tag their official account here I notice there are already two negative feedbacks which is good. a flag should be created for this so people will know how these people treat people who helped them promote their platform.


It's just their alibi whether they got good or bad results from the bounty campaign it's their obligation to pay people, not paying for service rendered is considered scamming and investors should dump their token, they first scammed their bounty hunters they will soon do an exit scam on their investors.

I’m not sure if they are really interested to make things clear here but logging in on telegram can be done with just couple minutes of his time. I’m sensing that they are just prolonging the conversation as delaying tactics to dodge their obligations to pay bounty campaigns.

A month of inactivity on telegram is already close for the account being deleted for long inactivity. I’m not sure what the guy doing in real world but it doesn’t make sense to become inactive knowing that he has responsibilities to fulfill especially your contract with them regarding their promotion.

very sorry to hear this as I joined signature compaign of ozonechain and project was looking good to me. I also intended to take part in their presale but later I gave up and invested in other coins. I wonder why one project marketing team do this. They spent lot of token and other funds for giveaway, airdrop, exchange listing and now couldn't paying small reward to hunters and OP.

As I remembered, I have contacted their marketing team before the start of second bounty for becoming sponsors of cwc contest but they refused and told that they already wasted funds in bounty without any outcome. My telegram account deleted otherwise I would give screenshot. One thing is clear that they have already planned of scamming.

I am still trying to contact Karthik Sakthivel since he said Eris will be back this week. Today is Tuesday and still, I have not received any message from him even his telegram account showing his last seen a month ago.

Karthik is reading my message but no response. I will keep updated the thread if any response comes from the Ozone Team.

So what was the point of them starting off the bounty campaign if they were not sure whether they were going to pay up?

All the initial advertising campaign and costs they did are now down the drain because of their irresponsible antics. I don't blame you OP, the scam accusation was long overdue, and you were so patient with them. In fact, some of these projects should be sending funds to the escrow address in advance. You don't walk up to an advertising company and tell them to advertise your product without even making any advance payment.

You should not. If they want to clear their mess, they need to send the payments they promised. These hunters and you worked hard to promote their brand and them expecting to receive it free is stupid. Isn't it better to receive the payment upfront so that you don't need to chase them? As a forum member you have a reputation to protect but for them there are no incentives if they do not get desire results.

They have something to worry about imagine checking the name of Karthik Sakthivel on the internet and seeing this thread this is something to panic about Sujon did the right thing to include the name of Karthik Sakthivel everything he built will be ruined because of this accusation so he better resolve this fast.

Do I correctly infer from this screenshot that Eris was not online for that time being? Has he contacted you now? He's recently online and should be able to reach you to discuss this matter.

I'm truly sorry to hear you went through that mess with Ozone Chain. If they come back to make things right, great, but don't be surprised if it's just more stalling BS. That hospital line gets tossed around a lot when scammers need to buy time and string people along and  you seem smart enough to recognize their typical tricks.  Hope it all works out in the end, but sounds like you got taken for a ride. Don't let them take advantage of you again.  Stand your ground and remember whats already happened.  Best of luck getting this sorted.

They had become worried after you made the accusation, but in this way they responded quickly even though Eris will be back next week to resolve the issue.

I hope you will get better news and accept the pool for bounty hunters and close the case if it is resolved.
It's possible that they're having a busy time right now although I'm not denying that.

I sent the Scam accusation link to Karthik, and he replied me like Eris will talk with me, please hold on. Let's see what happen. I will not close this accusation until the issue got fixed for sure.

This sucks, I was about to purchased some of their token during their IDO since they some promising project with strong marketing in the forum. I thought everything went smooth in the background. Luckily I didn’t invest some of this token since I just plan to purchase when listed on DEX just to make sure.

It’s very sad to hear this. It’s really very hard to predict that they will turn out like this because they pay on their first wave of promotion here in the forum. Hoping that you will still get your pay.

Bro, you did the right thing posting and exposing them, they know they have an obligation and they kept ignoring you they could have set up a date to pay you, and the bounty hunters, not giving a lot of excuses, based on the screenshot you provided it has been over a month, they have ample time to prepare the payment.

I hope they resolve the issue you deserve your payment they will have a bad reputation in the eyes of their supporters and investors if they deny you and the bounty hunters of payment.

What happened:: (long history short) The project is ozonechain contacted me to create their ANN thread as well as the other promotions later. After the first impression, the project looked solid. I took the task and started working as a Bounty campaign and signature campaign manager.

The first time they wanted to run the bounty for one Month / 4 weeks. Which was a weekly pay bounty campaign with USDT payment. They were also interested in running BTC payment Signature campaign. Everything was going smoothly with the payment (except for a little delay). Later they want to run another bounty for 3 months which will be a monthly payment.

I took the task and started to manage the bounty. during the first 4 weeks I notice ozone_chain start to do less response. I always try to contact him through telegram. Meanwhile, I paused the bounty campaign and prepared the final spreadsheet, and sent it for payment. While preparing the spreadsheet he came and told me no worries about the payment.




After a few weeks of no response (no seen), I contacted the ozone chain CEO Karthik Sakthivel (Previous CEO - now CTO),

The first time The CEO did not reply to me. Later I talk about scam accusations and told you that bounty hunters will be crazy and spam in the official group. Then he responded and said to me that @Eriscrypto_ozone would contact me. Here are some conversations with Karthik Sakthivel.

   



And now 22 OCT, None of them are replying to me. That means they are not going to pay the bounty hunters as well as I dues.
I tried for a long time to make sure the bounty hunters paid somehow without creating any scam accusations. Because they always promise me that payment could be delayed a little bit but they must pay. But in the end, they are not keeping their promise lately.


I am still waiting for them if they come here to respond and pay the hunters.
