Will crypto world become safer or even more vulnerable with years to come? Looks like some people don't want to invest because of safety issuses. Not a security master that's why i'm asking. All the best!

It's nothing to do with "Crypto", it's all about someone's "common sense" I guess.

Try to verify the email from your side always whether it is in the spam folder or in the inbox but before click on any link provided in the email first read the whole content carefully which has mentioned in the email. So always check before you click so that you will be safe from suspicious emails and hackers.

Maybe feelings have a hierarchy, greed is higher than a common sense. A person sees the amount that he will receive for free, a trigger is turn on that blocks everything else in his head. Only then, after the loss, he realizes what mistake he made. Probably everyone should go through this, we learn from mistakes.
I really don't think so. If you said that this email was just sent to a simple person then he probably get baited but come on! We're crypto investors and already got a broader knowledge about computer tech compare to others people so such kind of stunt surely won't work. If you fall on this then probably you're just a newbie at that time but if you're not then you are already called coward because you let this thing victimize you despite of having a lot of experiences.

That trick will work for the newest people who still learn in crypto. They don't think how they can win the biggest rewards because they don't remember that they are signing up for the contest or competition. But the old people could still get scam if they don't be careful about reading and clicking any email that comes to their email account. But I think the email provider like Gmail, Yahoo, AOL was already filtering the unknown email from the unknown website and I think that is work for us. The unknown email from the unknown source will enter to the spam folder, so you don't have to check your spam folder unless you know that the email is from your trust sources.

The sign that is a fake email or not can be seen as a big reward or prizes that we should confirm by clicking the link inside the email. We don't have to feel anything, just click the deleted email button, and you're done. But you still need to be careful to click any links in your email because that will be a fake email if you don't check before the click.

I have a hard time understanding how people can still believe that they were randomly selected to receive a $1000 paypal giftcard or whatever else these scammers come up with. Or people who believe they won a lottery they didn't even buy a ticket for. Absolutely no common sense and greed is he main problem.
Human beings differs, there are still some that will fall for such trap easily. People are now after stuff that will give them money without stress without reasoning the outcome of it. What they really want is quick and sharp money

The best protection against this is using disposable email addresses so you don't have any chance of accidentally falling for a scam like this. The amount of stories you hear of people who should be security conscious falling for these sorts of things just is not worth the risk. Scammers are always thinking of more elaborate ways of catching you out and to avoid lapse of judgement a disposable email address prevents that.
That’s why we need to have extra emails for things like this to prevent being a victim ,scammers are experts on this field and we must not fall from them
Many times that scammers hackers will test our capacity and security that’s why keep on being safe
There are still people believing on that attempt? I wonder how could they think about it if there's still a victim of classic tactics, But anyways newbie should really needed to be educated not only on that schemes but also on different types of upcoming scams so that they will not lose there hard earned money especially there are so many hyips and rampant ICO scams so trust no one and best to do a excellent research before engaging into financial things.

Aren't most of these types of emails considered as spam and the like? And also, I believe most users have the most basic decision making when looking at these types of mails. They take one look at it and they should be able to determine whether one is legit or not.

Well, advice for these would be choose what bounty/campaigns you would give your email and if possible, use an alternate one that you'd be willing to spend time to manage. If you reallllyyyy want to use your main email, then I'd advise regular management of your email so you could set some mails received from certain sites as spam or the like.

Most scammers getting email list from airdrops and bounties registrations.
Yes, you are right. bounty and airdrops helps hackers to collect email. sometimes scam/fake bounty owners also sell email/personal data to hackers. we should aware of it basically who inserts the most important email to bounties or airdrops.

Earlier I was reading your another thread > Does this email come from Hitbtc.com?? and now read this one.

If those screenshots mails you mentioned in this thread came to your inbox/spam then I think your email id is in the wrong hands.

You might consider enabling 2FA for your email id for extra security. Because if anyhow you lose your email id then you may lose several other accounts. Be Safe!

I don't know the email is now on the other hand or not. But it has been 2FA activated for 1 year maybe.

That's right. The hackers are using new methods day by day to steal your money. The first thing is your email. Most scammers getting email list from airdrops and bounties registrations. You can create an email account for only airdrops and bounties. Don't use your primary email for airdrops and bounties. The next thing is your computer security. You can keep update operatin system and virus guard.

I wonder if on today's generation, there are still people who will fall on that kind of email.

I mean, those examples in the provided screenshots, the way it was constructed, the content, the details, etc. - these kinds of layouts were already spamming our emails even back when crypto is not yet popular. Never seen those kinds today breaching our inbox for several years now unless I will go to my Spam folder.

People just have to use their common sense in dealing with any emails. Thanks to some of the most popular email providers today as their Spam filter is improving year by year.

Hacking into crypto is a very common thing now a day. We are constantly getting hacking news. With the increasing security of technology, hackers are discovering new strategies to steal people's money. And mostly new and greedy people get trapped in a hacker's trap. So today I will tell you something about hacking by email and ask you to be careful.

Hacking through email: The hacker first collects the crypto user's email for hacking via email. And the emails are collected mainly from crypto-related sites. Then they create some phishing/malware sites, and they sent some valuable offers to the cryptocurrency users by email. Whenever a person enters into the link by curiosity and the hackers collect important data from the user's device. Then hackers use these data to do the hack. And this is how people become victims of hacking.

Now below I will give some screenshots of some suspicious emails and refrain from clicking on them.

Many such emails can come in your email, mostly in the spam folder. sometime can come to the inbox. You should refrain from clicking on the links in those emails, or you may be the victim of hacking.
