As an Artist/Jeweller I can tell you the bridge was wonky because a large proportion of my work simply revolves around make sure that things are straight and in line with each other so I have the eye for it Tongue It is a bit difficult to tell though because the bridge is all made of bamboo pieces and looked quite messy. This kind of thing though is precisely why I think racism is a total joke, also I think people calling them our national treasures is going way too far, I like to think of them as the modern day three stooges though, they mean well in the end but they fuck up a lot and cause a lot of problems for people by accident without meaning to Cheesy

I actually took a closer look at what they said and god that's funny, I wonder if they did it on purpose because they knew morons like that woman would be waiting for their chance? Cheesy You can actually see the bridge is a bit wonky as well especially when they drive over it.

And even before they drove on it to traverse the river cock (lol) It had a noticeable slop I don't remember which minutes exactly, but it was obvious why before the made the comment.

BBC/Top gear/Jeremy should counter  sue for defamation and that the one is trying to get a name for herself thanks to top gear

Clarkson used his Twitter account today to respond to the allegation, and said: 'I'm not a racist. I am currently sitting in a bar with a man who lives quite near Wales.'

After completion, Clarkson, 53, said: 'That is a proud moment, but there's a slope on it', as a man walked towards him on a makeshift bridge.

Haha. Double entendres don't count.
Actually the bridge had really a slop in it, and Jeremy posted in his tweeter a picture from a Vodafone ad or something where they used the word slope as well saying something like : "that looks pretty racist to me"

I'm a fan of that particular show, despite being a motorcyclist.

I watched the episode in question & DID NOT notice anything amiss at the time - they were talking about the bridge, right Wink

Yeah, we know it's all heavily scripted etc & we know that JC has become, to a degree anyway, a victim of his own success.

Part of the shows' appeal is that they push things as hard as they dare (for the Beeb, anyway!) but to sue over this is just insane.

In my books, "Slope" is no more of a racial insult than:

Brit

Yank

Jock

Paddy

Clog

Kraut

Frog

Chink

Dago

*add your own*

and this silly slapper should be told to SHUT THE FUCK UP & leave our national treasures alone.

Some of those are historically much more offensive than others, but it's not really for somebody else to say how offended somebody else should be by a particular word.

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this either, any time Top Gear gets openly attacked, it's always some unfunny comedian or an actor that doesn't get as much attention as they do and when you actually look at the stuff they've done you can see exactly why they're pulling these kind of stunts. There were similar 'complaints' from a comedian awhile back accusing them of being bullies etc. and while I do think the stereotypes can go too far sometimes I think some of these people seriously need to grow the fuck up and realise what racism actually is.

I'm sure there are people who grew up facing real persecution and attacks over what they are laugh at petty people like this.

I didn't even get the slope/slope 'joke' when I watched the show, and I'm quite as racist as the next guy.

I mean really she just want free advertising and on top of that some money, I just hope top gear and the BCC will counter sue her to stop this kind of attitude.
