It's really hard to take sides in any of these events. It can be difficult as admin to maintain rules, especially when most of the seemingly harsh decisions are at the discretion of the many moderators, all having their own brand of justice and interpretation of the rules. And when people, usually knowingly, do things that attract that kind of attention, some get the hammer, others are luckier to escape with cautions. The lesson here is to simply never give anyone any reason to ever ban you.

I used to think that we should afford newcomers a little room. Some people simply don't get why their actions could be construed as spammy or shilly. I know when I add a new contact I have to sometimes gently tell them I don't want their unsolicited spam.

While communicating in chat the User is forbidden to express any discrimination on the ground of national origin, sex or other grounds, to express any disrespect to other users or administrative staff of the Stock Eschange, to use strong and offensive language as well as to discuss local conflicts, wars etc.

If the rules are violated administration of the Stock Eschange holds the right to restrict user's communication in chat.

Yobit never had a good reputation and probably never will. If we assume that the claim is true, they could've just banned him from the Chat as the TOS says. The way I see it is that they used this as a reason just to block his account and take his funds.
Thats the hard thing when you got restricted on chat they will just simply tell you about their tos and even if you make reasons if their decision is final or fixed you cant changed anything. I agree on what you said that this would be a possible reason that they can block your account and thats why i dont trust yobit or any exchange when it comes when they are too strict implementing their rules.

But it has to be confirmed by Yobit and show us what really happened. It is easy for a user to post lies and blame everything on the exchange. Remember the complaints on Bittrex's new policy of verifying accounts? It turned out that most of those users had multiple accounts and didnt have the proper IDs to verify their identities.
I doubt they'll give any response or confirmation about the situation with the blocked accounts because they can't even handle their support ticket what more if they visit the forum. Maybe the admin accidentally banned him instead of removing the account's ability to send messages from the trollbox. Anyways old users should stop using them they already have negative trust here in the forum. There are better and reputable exchanges around here that you can go to.

This what's to happen when someone's account has been blocked.

As that thread says it was caused by "hard spam" and your funds will be gathered for sure if there's no activity found on that account which won't happen since his account has been banned.

Too many cases and problems posted here in forum about the ban/blocking of their accounts.

But the reality is that many are keep on using them and never take the warnings.

That should be the case, but Yobit seems to be unfair and inconsiderate if it's only a troll box violation. It is not the first time I read a post about an account that have blocked just because of that [same unsolved case posted here and several post about blocked accounts here too].

The way I see it is that they used this as a reason just to block his account and take his funds.
Plus, knowing that they have a poor support, users will just be tired of contacting them and wait for a response.

PS. I never had any problem with Yobit, but if I put my feet in the shoes of these people, that's what I have thought
