Top Crypto Casino
Betchain is the only casino that I'm familiar with.
I never understand why would anyone need tether or USDT to play in casino when they can play with bitcoins and other crypto currencies.
Those who want to play with USD should play at the fiat based casino's.
It is stable and not all gamblers want to gamble with their bitcoins or ethereum. The volatility isn't that much with stable coins and they prefer to play with it to be safe from fees and volatility.

Those are not tether casinos, but casino platforms which accepts USDT as a means of making deposits, most of them also accept other top cryptocurrencies on their platform.
The issue of volatility has also been solved on most gambling platforms, they allow deposits in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum, which would be converted to it's fiat equivalent once on their website. As such; if you deposit $50 worth of Bitcoin it would be reflected in that value and not be subject to volatility while you gamble with it.
Pegged cryptocurrencies come with its share of regulations and risks as it does not give the holder complete control over their assets.

Fiat based casinos doesn't offer privacy but in online crypto casinos we don't need to do any KYC. But the usage of tether for betting maybe their personal choice and it depends on the persons maybe he is interested in betting with the fiat value not in the satoshi so he picked stable coin.

are id's required on fiat based casinos ? never tried to play on a formal one but only those that are on public areas or sidewalks  . they dont require id's and also you can wear mask ,shades , etc just to hide your identity .  to some online casino's kyc is also a requirement  . @UmerIdrees you just quoted the answer to your question  . the main reason is due to the volatility aspect of cryptos  but if your using cryptos that arent volatile enough , i think its fine and you dont really need to use a stable coin  . also this topic should be moved on the gambling section
To enter a real casino you need to provide your identity, but on slot machines on public places can't be considered as a casino they are just a small part of it and people rarely visit there in regular basis. While most of the casinos doesn't need KYCs to bet any amount but remember to read their terms of service before making a bet to make sure the KYC requirement.

Temporary forum vacation
Tether is actually not really blockchain, other than it uses another blockchain (I mean, practically anybody now can just open a token on ETH so I could do it even).

Bitcasino also added Tether too,,, if you want to know a bitcoin casino that has been in the space for a very long time!

Every person has their own personal taste or opinion about which currency they are used, there is nothing wrong at all using both of the currency. As long the player was not really taking a problem at all then you cannot force anyone to use it.

USD have their own advantage when playing using this currency:
- Not getting the effect when cryptocurrency going down, since they using
- Everyone was using USD to determined their profit, so more easy when estimate the bet or other thing using USD.

Just like what's i said a long time ago, CASINO sometimes using cryptocurrency just to make the player more easy to transaction since all tx was fast and easy to used.

Buy Bitcoin
Tether is a blockchain-based cryptocurrency whose cryptocoins in circulation are backed by an equivalent amount of traditional fiat currencies. Me personally, I love Tether (USDT) crypto casino games. In comparison to traditional fiat gambling, this is heaven!

I would personally suggest staying away from Tether (USDT) as it is not 100% backed as they claim. Its better to gamble with other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. And as Upgrade0 mentioned, some gambling platforms like Roobet have solved the volatility issues by converting your crypto deposits into fiat equivalent. So just rethink about using Tether for gambling.
