Good question, there is a chance that miners will have more time to continue mining ETH because that's just the way ETH Devs have been doing their thing for past years, not saying it's certain but we are already used to this false panic of mining coming to an end, if it thus happens we have other options available, bothered? Nope

Would you use/try a new ethash miner given that POS is coming soon, or you wouldn't even bother (even if it as an obvious + value)  and stay with the current leading ones. The related question is : do you think that the difficulty bomb will really explode in june or will it be postponed ?
