There are also those emails that are telling you that they chose you to receive millions of dollars.

Avoid any of those emails and as much as you can, all pf them. Dont trust any link they attach.

Scammers are really developing new strategies to phish information from anyone who lets his guard down. If you haven't been a victim of phish attack before, it is best you learn from the experiences of those that have been victims. Experience in this case, is not the best teacher.

I would be more categorical, and did not warn about this particular mail, but advised not to open unknown emails at all. Especially those that go directly to the spam folder. Apart from problems, opening such files will bring nothing.
I don't know what might be the problem at the end, but receiving such unknown message with link is suspicious though, the problem at my end is random submission of my mail address long time ago which I have stopped doing recently, I was doing some clean-up by unsubscribing from those mails little by little.

The file is expired, and is therefore no longer available. Never know what’s going to be on the other end of that link, but more than a phishing site, it’s much more likely to be some malware to take control over your device. The likely malware won’t really target all OS, but what do they care. Send it through to enough people, and someone will be curious (and desperate) enough to take a peep from the intended device OS …

In the spam section, there are indeed a lot of phishing attacks that are still there, but I don't open it often because I know it's a problematic folder.

This is one of their ways with the word romantic maybe so that it then downloads in the link, now this is what makes us more dangerous when someone has clicked on it.

Stay away from the spam folder unless some activation goes into it.

If you're aware of a security breach you'll know that this kind of emails, should not be open, if you don't remember subscribing or a stranger sending you files to upload never open it, it's unethical for them to ask you to download anything without knowing who they are, I only download files coming from sources that I verified and subscribed, but this kind of emails deserves to land in my spam or deleted.

I just received this mail on my device few days ago at spam section, the sender telling me some romantic words to download a link to what he/she has for me Grin

This is a clear picture of some phishing attack to steal your login details especially your important keys, if you receive this similar message in your mail, ignore it or rather delete it.

In some cases, you may receive pictures of hot / sexy girls and you will be tempted to click on them. That will make the malware to be download/install on your pc or phone. Therefore, we should not click on any links/pictures from such emails from unknown senders. They will probably hack your system or steal any confidential information.

You do not need to include the potential harmful link even if it's in-between code tags.
Such phishing attacks are regular on the internet and probably is not related to Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Just ignore such messages and if possible use a different one for more sensitive purposes if you feel it has been linked to you by scammers

I will advise you to backup every necessary detail you have and format the computer.
Oops!!! That's huge step don't you think so? Grin I believe the op did not click the link, his gadget is not infected yet. My only advice for him is to filter his mails to stop receiving mails from an unknown addresses and stop filling up his wallet related email address to receive newsletter from random sites. They keep selling it to marketers

This is clearly a phishing attack email but what I understand is the reason why you have to open the message notwithstanding the fact you already it problematic and if you don't have good computer skill won't be aware of the damage it might have done your computer.
I will advise you to backup every necessary detail you have and format the computer.

Be careful with that email address, stay away from it if you receive similar mail.
