Everything isn't exactly as before because bitcoin is now a commodity but not a currency in china. I don't know where this is heading but so far the reception of those news from the community can be desribed with one word only. Panic. So the media are the least to blame.

The media at large is best avoided. It will not better your life in any way. All the shit they write about, you usually can't do shit about anyway. And most countries are mismanaged and having corrupt politicians to a certain degree, and the mainstream media always run the ideas of the establishment.

Seek out your niche interest and alternative sources of information. It is the habbit of the modern man to 'read the news'. People went along quite well before they had to do this as well. Just think of it, what is the point of filling the brain with mindless crap everyday, from people who life off FUD? Better then to have some positive input!
