Jihan BU is declaring a war against bitcoin, that's what happening. He is probably going to Hard Fork bitcoin before UASF makes appearance and he is spending massive amounts of money on nodes and hash power i imagine.

Luckily enough according to https://coin.dance/ then BU doesnt have advantage in any way.

I just came across at bitnodes.21.co that someone just now spawned multiple BU nodes at the Amazon network..
