What worse case scenario given then fact I have only 14$ on this wallet and of course not intend to deposit anymore funds to that wallet
If someone already has the seed phrase to your wallet, simply abandon that wallet for ever, good as you said you don't have any intention of sending any money to that wallet again.

What I did advice you do is try to see how you can withdraw your $14 out of that wallet to a new wallet, this you can do by sending a very small amount of gas fee enough to only transfer the tokens out, if the fee remains in the wallet, then immediately transfer your tokens out before the scammer gets it first, but if the gas fee you sent was immediately moved to the scammer's wallet, then just forget about that and the $14 in it and move, and make sure not to make the same mistake that you made that handed the scammer your wallet seed phrase.

If someone gets your wallet phrase, they have complete access to your crypto. Unfortunately, in that situation, your funds are likely lost. However, if you still have some access to your wallet , you can try transferring them to a new wallet.

More importantly, figure out how someone got your wallet phrase. This will help you prevent future theft.  Always remember, securing your new wallet is crucial. Losing a wallet with a significant amount of crypto would be devastating.

Generally wallet is own secret matter its not right to share about wallet with anyone fund is completely own so do your own it is not right to share with anyone. How much money is in your wallet, what is the password of the money bag, etc. If you share with someone, later it will be seen that there is a possibility of your wallet being hacked, so to save from hackers, you must always maintain privacy.

Privacy is very important in the crypto space. A little fade away to expose your privacy may lead to lose of all your funds. It's even dangerous entering various website with your main wallet. This can make scammers to have access to your wallet.
I agree with you. Nowadays a lot of new projects offering lucrative Airdrops rewards but you need to connect your wallet in their website some newbie people's connect their wallet to participate in airdrops, but after that they claimed their tokens are stolen because scammers got access in their wallets, so some people's lost their private key in such way.

The early the better for you to move your token to another wallet address, before the person we change his/her mind. Secondly cryptocurrency business is a business of sharing wallet phase code or private key, it's a personal business and hold your wallet phase code as handle your local Bank ATM card password.
I have also encountered cases where only the gas fee was sent. In other words, the tokens in the wallet cannot be sent because every time you send BSC, the BSC will be immediately sent to another address. Being careful is the most important thing in crypto.

Yeah we should not delay while passing the token if we know the access of the wallet it will not take time to scam. The number of scammers has increased to increase the price of the tokens so it should not be delayed even a second. Wallet keys should be kept in a safe place for future transactions.

why do you ask again when you find out that your wallet phrase is already in someone else's hands? it is clear that this person will have access to your wallet and at any time he can withdraw the assets in your wallet. i'm quite surprised that you know how to make a deposit, but even with basic knowledge like this you still can't understand it.

In fact, what is the point of depositing our wallet when we know already that it was compromised? That is the stupidest decision we have ever made.
So instead of keeping that wallet, better create another where you are certain that it was all yours.

Well, a lot of people experience hacking incidents because they are still using an exposed wallet. Even if they notice unauthorized transactions, they still ignore them and continue using them. If we think about the security of our funds, no way we could think if using a compromised wallet but rather have a new one. Security is a must and we can't just set aside or ignore if we detect any unknown logins as that is an indication of something we don't want to happen someday.

The least you can do is send the remaining balance to your other wallet that is not compromised or else when you think you can use it without a problem, you will find your funds missing because the hackers will only snatch it away when they find out that you have deposit some more cryptos in there. That's why people keep changing their wallets in order to secured it even more at least most of them changed it once per year in order not to forget their seed phrases and to renew the securities of their crypto funds. Also, it would help if you got ready to create one wallet for your safety in the future as well, to act fast whenever you sense someone can open your crypto wallet beside you.

If it's not too late, it's best to send the remaining coins or tokens you have to a new wallet and forget about the wallet you currently have. However, we will never know what that person did. This also happened to me, and the person sent all the assets I owned to his personal wallet. To avoid anything that doesn't happen, you should update and secure all the accounts you have.

there are two possibilities.
1. Someone already knows your wallet phrase because you didn't keep it properly. maybe your friend or someone close to you.
2. Your wallet is connected to a phishing site. This usually happens when you participate in an airdrop and you connect your wallet to claim rewards.
change your wallet immediately and be careful next time.

It's not about greed.
I made a mistake and bought Retik Tokens in presell which result that I probably won't see nothing from it, on the other hand I know someone who can do something and get my eth back(eth which I bought these tokens with),for that matter he need the control (with my wallet secret phrase).

I know it sound extrmely scammy but ,worse case is he will get the crappy retik tokens(currently hadn't been claimed yet...and plus 14$)...

On the other hand , if it not a scam like I can get my eth back...he asked me to move all my assets from my wallet before getting control of it. He was honest on that thing

Yes, that whole thing sounds fishy!  What does he get out of it? nobody just does stuff for free, right?  Especially something that seems like it might take some effort.
It doesn't make sense that someone would be willing to do it for free, so you have to ask what's their angle?  Its very likely they have some hidden agenda you don't know about.

Okay, so how are you going to make sure that after the recovery, he is going to give the recovered ETH back to you instead of keeping it along with the $14 and the tokens kept in your wallet since he would have complete access to it? Even if he was honest with you and said that you should empty the wallet before handing it over to him, you shouldn't trust someone like that with your wallet even if it doesn't have a lot of funds in it.
I understand your point that it isn't a lot of money for him to steal but still, I don't understand what he would do after accessing your wallet for the recovery process, cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible after all.

What worse case scenario given then fact I have only 14$ on this wallet and of course not intend to deposit anymore funds to that wallet

You probably have mistakenly exposed your wallet seed phrase somewhere. The way seed phrase is structured, it can't be broken by anyone, not even a hacker can break the special functions it was pass through to create you a seed of 12-24 special words. It's either you didn't back it up well in safe place or you did back it up properly but you didn't keep it in a safe place and another person has seen it and was fast to send it out to another wallet destination.

What you should do next time, if you want a safe and secure wallet, you should use a hardware wallet. It's more secure and safe than the software wallet. Unless you exposed your seed phrase to anyone, it can't be compromise because your keys are actually not connected to the internet. But, it doesn't mean you should misplaced it anywhere unsafe or in unsafe hands, if they know your pin, your coins will be wipe off. Stay guarded next time.

Best thing is to stop using the wallet and create a new one. Then transferred your $14 into an exchange wallet that way the scammer won't be able to trace your new wallet. Try to be careful with your phrase next time.

You are always advised not to share your seed phrase with anyone for security purposes but since you have already discovered that someone has it meaning that the person can have access to your funds regardless of the amount, abandon the wallet, get a new one and make sure you don't expose it again. You can also help yourself by getting a stronger password and something very long that can't easily be memorized by anyone.

If the wallet you have is no longer safe, it's a good idea to switch to another popular wallet that has a five star rating by making a new one and storing the keys safely so that the money in your wallet doesn't disappear again. Because now there are various wallets available, you just have to choose one of them

It doesn't matter about the rating if that wallet is non-custodial. Most wallets right now support multi chain and provide a wide range of services to their customers. It doesn't cost anything and there is no limit of creating a new wallet so i agree that if that wallet is compromised, its better to move on to a new wallet if there are still funds left then transfer it to the new wallet if that's possible. There isn't any way to secure that wallet anymore if its not a multi sig wallet.
The best way is to change your wallet, that's the only way. if someone else already knows the key, if you force you to continue then you have to be prepared for your funds to be drained and he will closely monitor the activities of your wallet contents in the future so this experience will be a valuable lesson so that in the future you can guard your wallet key properly

If I am understanding the message in your correctly, it seems that your wallet is compromised and somebody has gained access by hacking seed phrases. The first thing you should do is to withdraw all remaining funds immediately.

In order to minimize the risk of hacking, consider the  following precautions.

- Choose secure wallets ( Hardware wallets are considered most secure)

- Use strong passwords.

- Store seed phrases or private keys in a safe place. Write seed phrases in a physical format such as a paper note book.

- Avoid connecting your wallet with suspicious platforms.

phrase and privatkey are very vital keys, and it is fatal if anyone knows it because they can access it without your knowledge, I understand how you feel because this is learning from the past and being alert to the assets you have as early as possible, you can create a new wallet as you like by moving assets in it, next time use it on a piece of paper that you keep in a secret place. Incidents such as the loss of assets still often occur even though the main cause is not the same and there are other motives (phishing web connections) but if you have set yourself up to maintain more disciplined credentials, of course you can minimize the risk. Hopefully you have done it now.

No, there is no need to know your wallet phrase. This could happen because you have connected your wallet to a phishing site. Therefore you need to be careful when connecting your wallet to a particular site and if you have to connect to a particular site it's best to use a new wallet.

If someone have your wallet address, tje first thing is to stop using that wallet and probably try to withdraw all the funds you have their before the person outsmart you. You must first investigate how got leaked to be able to prevent future occurrence.  Did you save the wallet in your phone where people have access to? Did you save the keys in your email or social media? Did you click phishing links or downloaded unverified software? You just have to investigate how it happened so you can protect yourself because if you do not do this, even if you make a new wallet, the phrase can still be leaked

Caution please you're so lucky that you released this thread. 14$ is a very small amount and you should never repeat never look back at that wallet again. The hackers have a number of techniques which they might implement and even after recovering your wallet they might break in again. They might be waiting for you to get satisfied that you've recovered your wallet and once you'll deposit a big amount that's where they'll come into the game again.

Don't go with the techniques of recovering your wallet, they also involve a lot of risks just go and find out what was the reason for this. It's very crucial to find out the reason so that it can be avoided in the near future otherwise your phone is at risk .

Are you kidding us here? I believe you already know the answer to the question you asked, and I don't even know how this bypassed me for almost 2 weeks. Well, in this case, I consider it as having your little money in the bank account with the ATM delivered to another person. For the fact that the money is little and you can do away with it, of course, it can't give you a sleepless night. This is especially true if you are such that is financially free, it will just be such that you may not even think it exists. There are some monies in some wallets I forgot they are in there, and this also happens to some money in my bank account as well, once they are little, my mind is off it.

So, letting someone know the passcode to a wallet with just $14 in it, even as you've determined not to fund the wallet again, is nothing at all. Some people could be trusted as well and will not touch that money for any reason. The confusion is that you did not explain your relationship with the person or state if such is just a random person or a hacker, regardless, make your plan good, and never make the mistake of funding that wallet again. We are all susceptible to error.

If you already know that someone got your wallet phrase so why you still not sending your 14$ in the another wallet although it's small amount but anytime you can see your balance will empty, you should create new wallet and be careful to store your wallet seed, don't keep wallet phrase in online storage.

This is a funny scenario and I it obvious that you know that someone has your wallet phrase.
You can as well remove you fund from such wallet and create another wallet you can be using to keep your crypto coins.
If you don't mind leaving your coin there since it's just a small money, that could be okay but watch out in case you could not find your money in your wallet again, you can challenge the person.

Don't share your wallet's seed phrase with anyone remember that it's not recoverable if you've suffered such a loss due to sharing. People usually learn from mistakes so be aware before making the same mistakes again. If someone knows the password of the wallet then don't keep the money in that wallet it is better to keep it empty so that even if someone gets access they will not be able to steal any money.

Worst case scenario is whoever has your seed phrase takes the $14 which if we're being honest not at all that bad. It could've been worse like imagine if you had over $500 on that wallet? I say just forget about that wallet and move on.

How did that person ever get your seed phrase? Did you purposely tell it to someone or was your device compromised? It's better that you learn from your mistakes and make sure that it doesn't happen again. You wouldn't want your wallet to be compromised if it had over hundreds of dollars already won't you?
This very often happens to beginners who initially think that the seed phrase is not that important so they easily give the seed phrase to other people, but over time they realize that the assets they own can be accessed by other people at any time. I often encounter cases like this in airdrop groups, they often don't understand how to sell or can't claim the airdrop, so there are seniors who understand and offer their services, instead of wanting to help they want to steal the assets.

That's why it's so important to continue learning about crypto, especially about the importance of wallet security. Because looking after your wallet is the same as looking after your house keys, if we give our house keys to other people, it is not impossible that one day they will steal all the valuables in our house. For Op, it's a good idea to immediately change your wallet, and empty the contents of the old wallet. Once again, creating a wallet seed phrase is very easy and doesn't take long. It is better to avoid undesirable things than if they happen, it will make you regret it.

I don't know why someone has your phrase. And what is the condition of the people after owning it. But what is certain is that it is quite risky to let other people know about such an important thing. So, if it's already happened, it's better to create a new wallet and send the coins in the old wallet to the new wallet. So at least this can first secure the coins you have. Even if only a little. However, also consider the number of coins and since when the promotion was carried out.

The moment you discovered your wallet has been compromised or someone have your phrase code of your wallet is very risky to leave your assets in that wallet, it's good to move all the funds to a new wallet that no one has asses to it.
We should move new funds to another one because the current one got invaded and not everyone could be mentally strong to accept the crucial results that will happen. We have wallets that we ought to store our passwords in safer place, possibly a place where no eyes will reach them except us, the ones that stores them. I know how broad the system is and how we can comprehend the actions triggered, rather we should keen on storing more information that would he helpful. Realizing someone having your 12 secret phrases does send a message.

recovery but like I said wallet contain just 14$ so what worse can happen?

The worst thing can happen is your balance will become zero, nothing else. You no need to worry about anything else cause all the transactions are already public and one who have the seeds may not connect with your identity so their only intention will be taking the money in the wallet then just let it be.

If someone hacks your wallet's security system, your phases are supposed to be on someone else's device, and that's what happened. There is no other known process to recover your wallet. You will never get your wallet back, so it would be wise not to use this wallet.

Depends.

If you link your identity to that wallet and it's used/moved by a scammer, you could be accused as scammer especially the scammer didn't leak his personal information.

If you didn't link your identity, then the worst case is you lose the $14, there's no other thing would happen.

So, did you link your identity?

If somebody around you has it, then just use a different wallet in the future. Now if the hackers got it through malware or whatever it is, I guess it's time for you to format your computer or laptop because chances are, you might get hacked again in the future since they already have access to your device.

Worst case scenario? None as long as the hackers aren't the ones that got your seed phrase because you can just change a new wallet if somebody around you has the seed phrase. Just abandon it, and create another one then don't share it with others.

Op it's better you just forget about that wallet and creat a new one, because anything that will cause you to mistakenly make deposit into that wallet it would be a case of charity. so just dump the wallet after all, you don't have much asset there so you could even decide to use a new brand of wallet for proper security. And I also advise that when you get your new wallet, do well to secure your seed phrase well. I can't imagine that someone guessed your seed phrase and got it right, but I believe it was due to your misplacement of your seed phrase that lead to some one having access to it. So you could buy a water proof and fire proof safe to luck your seed phrase do that you'll be the only to know the passkey to the safe.

Why you give some one else has access with your wallet? I think is very bad ideas when some one know your seed phrase wallet and better forget your wallet and create new wallet without any one else know seed phrase. If some one know with your seed phrase wallet its not your coins any more because not your key is not your coins and I worried some one else have put bot set up and receiving fund automatically sent our your assets.

Actually seed phrase wallet is most sensitive, you can't share to any one else because we can't believe with their reputation are there our wallet and assets keep secure when have some one get information with seed phrase. For your coins saving fund use new wallet and protect it without any one know seed phrase and connect and make approving with trust site only.

I am not clear about how you lost your wallet or recovered the wallet. If you have given your seed phrase to someone else or become a victim of hacking, take immediate action to secure your assets and change your seed phrase to protect your funds. It is best if you don't make any new plans with the wallet. Stop using such wallets to avoid future losses. To ensure the security of your wallet, use a wallet to store the wallet seed phrase and never share it with anyone.

The moment you discovered your wallet has been compromised or someone have your phrase code of your wallet is very risky to leave your assets in that wallet, it's good to move all the funds to a new wallet that no one has asses to it.
Op may have made a mistake she shared her wallet seed phrase with someone else which means that someone else now has access to her wallet. His control of that wallet is now completely with someone else so if he keeps his assets in that wallet he will make another mistake. And create a new wallet as soon as possible and replace its assets there. Not your key Not your Coin

To keep our wallet safe and secure, the wallet seed phrase needs to be kept highly secure.

Not much. Just forget about the wallet and use a new one.
I too in past have lost my wallet with 4 digit sums to a hacker. Not sure how they got hold of it but there could be two reasons I could think of where I was not cautious.
Once I opened my wallet in a pirated version of Windows. Pirated software are known to have clipboard watcher and keyloggers. And the likelihood of getting a spyware are also greater in Pirated software.
Another mistake of mine was to store my private key in google drive. Many app we use do ask to read and modify our drive data. They might theoretically get hold of our wallet.

How did you recover your wallet phase? Even if you are in recovery I would tell you to stop using your wallet and never plan to move forward with this wallet. Because whenever your wallet phase is passed to someone else then I think your wallet will never be safe so if you stop using this wallet now then you won't be harmed later. Finally I would like to tell you keep your wallet seed phrase very safe so that no one can steal it.

Sorry about that but do you still have access to the wallet? If yes, make a withdrawal of the fund in there and swap my creating another wallet but yet if you don't have access to the wallet, then I still console with you if you find $14 unaffordable to loose.
Please do create yourself with another wallet and be careful this time for seed phrases are accessible keys to your wallets.
Also, don't forget to let your campaign manager know you have a change of wallet. That's if you are in any campaign

Asking about what bad things will happen, of course you already know the answer. You don't have to wait for answers from other people. If someone has your wallet phrase and it only contains $14 then throw it away and forget it, create a new wallet and secure the phrase. But why someone else owns your wallet phrase is a serious question. you need to evaluate what you are doing so that other people have it. The wallet phrase must be stored properly and don't let anyone have it other than you.

My first question is how does someone have your wallet phrase? This is something that is meant to be a secret between you and your wallet. Did you store it carelessly? Because even if someone tried to get it from the app you’re using, they need to provide some form of Authentication. This is coming a bit later than when you made the topic but if you can, you should send out the money to a new wallet and be more conscious of your security because next time you could have a lot more money in there. I just hope you took the best steps.

Did someone withdraw your funds already OP? If there is suspicious activity, it is good not to touch or make a deposit in that account as it was compromised already, abandon it is the best thing to do.

I'm not sure what really happened to your wallet or if it was hacked already but in that case, it is possible to no longer see your funds anymore.
Creating a new one is necessary but you should keep your keys/phrases safe and out of sight from others or else, that still be going to happen again and again. Don't get easily fooled by hackers and scammers, they will target greedy and innocent people. Think first and do research before making a decision.

Just send your coins to the new wallet.
Also, just leave that old wallet that has been compromised. If there are still some balances left, that's what he must do, send it asap to another wallet of his.

How did someone get your seed phrase?
Based on his story, this is how it went.

Your seed phrase is the key to your wallet. I don't know why you will share it with someone else. This should be confidential. If your seed phrase is being exposed, it's advisable not to use such wallet anymore because your coin/token isn't save anymore.

Never make that mistake again, even if you were trying to get some of your money back by giving your seed words to someone else, you could have tried to solve this by asking that person to give you the instructions while you were following along, allowing you to make an attempt to get your ETH back without giving away your seed words, and while the mistake will not be costly, as at most you will lose 14 dollars, if you do not change your ways you could make this mistake again and lose way more money than that.

What exactly are you looking for by creating this topic? If you were trying to spread awareness, then you should have shared how this happens so that others can be careful when doing something similar. Creating a new wallet won't cost any money so i guess you have already created a new account, and you should move your leftovers to the new wallet as well. That hacker will transfer everything that is on that compromised wallet so if its possible just move your funds.

Even though you only have 14$ in the wallet don't keep them there again and don't use the wallet again because the. Person will used the seed phrase to collect all your funds whether big or small. And I wanted you to do some security measures on the wallet but there is no need just leave that wallet and use another wallet. Because according to a popular saying, "prevention is better than cure" many people have done that mistake of keeping their seed phrase in an open place and their friends saw air and use it to scam them back again so in your new wallet you are using please keep it in a secret places so that it will not leak our again.

Keep your seed phrase in a safe place.

Just forget that wallet and how did you ever gave that seed phrase of yours to that person? Don't do the same mistake in the nearest future as we're about to get into the bull run.

This is the hard part when the market is like this, the scammers are also aggressive and taking advantage of someone's greediness.

Don't be greedy, maybe telling us the whole story on how you ended up giving it to that guy. I'm guessing that this is related to airdrop or recovery or anything that you have encountered with a problem.

Okay.

If that's an honest deal that you've got having to talk with that guy. As long as you move your assets first out of that wallet and it has nothing left there.

Then, you won't have anything to get hacked and scammed for. But I'm not confident with that process because I am not so familiar with it, if anyone has got experience with that, much better to explain more about it.

The worst case scenario is that a hacker has access to your Google account or device.  So you have to trace how they got your phrase key.  Use an anti-virus to scan your device so that any malware or trojans can be removed immediately.  Use a new wallet for your next transaction and make sure you store it well so you don't lose other assets.

If you're aware that someone have the access with your private keys, then better to abandoned that wallet and of course don't forget to reset your computer because that could be the reason why your wallet get compromised. Don't try to deposit any funds there as you are just giving free money to the hacker. This happened to many wallets already, so make sure to use every security available and don't ever share it to anyone.

Well how did you know in the first place that someone have your wallet phrase? Did they intentionally left you with that $14 and thinking that you might deposit more and then with their bot, gonna steal it from you. And if you have still have the 14$ then why not transfer it to a new wallet? Moral lesson here is that you should know how to protect your wallet seed or password and do not trust anyone. And maybe I would advise to as well to format your PC if there is a malware there that will steal all your crypto. So just be careful as well on clicking any links, again it might compromised your PC or laptop.

They don't need your passphrase to simply send coins. If they need to send a custom transaction from your wallet, it still can be signed on your own computer. If they want to confirm that address of yours, use arbitrary message signing. Don't ETH wallets support all of this?

So you gave your wallet recovery seed to someone you know? if he has warned you to move your assets. then do it, leave the wallet empty. there is a high probability that you will lose the tokens that you mentioned in your participation in the presale.
The outcome of this case is not yet known, right? So try to have a good relationship with that person. I hope you are not cheated in your case.

How did it happen? Did it happen to you?Have you shared your wallet seed phrase with others?

You might have shared your wallet seed phrase with someone who hacked your wallet or someone else has your wallet. You said you had $14 dollars in that wallet if your $14 dollars is not transferred by that hacker or other person to another wallet then you transfer it to your new wallet very fast And you create a new wallet. Creating your new wallet now applies to you because someone else has access to your previous wallet so whatever funds you deposit will go to someone else.

Worse case is you forgot that someone got access of that wallet and everytime you deposited funds it will automatically be retrieved by orher person.  Theres a lot of event whereas hackers gained access on wallet and install some drainer bot. I think if manually hacked its fine cause if ever youll get a chance to overtake his action if you are able to do it first but if its a drainer bot Im not sure about that. Better to change address soon as long as you knew your wallet is compromise.

Best thing is to learn from your mistake and move on, never share your seed phrase with anyone no matter the circumstances or persuasions, it's your secret phrase, and remember that as many people that you shared your seed phrase with, you've also shared the ownership of the coins inside with them and anyone of them can have access to it. So just open a new wallet and transfer the coins from the compromised wallet into it, never send any coin into the compromised wallet again, no matter how insignificant the amount is.

If someone already has your seed phrases and if they know how to use a cryptocurrency wallet they will not leave anything in your wallet. By now the wallet should have been empty and you should have nil balance. Considering they do have those phrases then transfer the balance to a new wallet and don't even accidentally reveal your seed phrases of the new wallet to anyone online or offline. The best thing you can do is to learn from your mistakes.

Just go and creat another wallet and be careful next time. Because next time you might not be luck as this. Who knows what would have happened to you if you had a huge amount of money in it. That is why they always tell or warn people about keeping there pass phrase in a safe and secure place to avoid hack. Because if hackers don have your details I don't think they have anything to do with you.

Yes, as some of them say. You should immediately create a new wallet and forget your known wallet, and also immediately move $14 to the new wallet.
And my question is, how can someone know your starting phrase and you need to know it for your lessons so that it doesn't happen again.
Actually, you can solve this problem yourself without having to create a thread, and I think you already know that this wallet address is very secret and only you know it.

having your wallet phrase known by other people is as good as having your wallet ownership shared between you and that other people and there's definitely no way to revoke that, your wallet will be known to them forever, its like giving second master key to your wallet to them.
best course of action is just to ditch it, while you have $14 possibly move it to the other wallet that you just created that aren't known by the other party.
and as you stated above, it seemed his advice is legit and hes willing to help you and even advice you to move your money, why don't you just do what he advised though.
that could definitely could save you from the headache but if you think its too complicated for just $14 and youre fine with it i guess youre fine.
but always remember to create new wallet that aren't known by any other people in the future, dont ever use that wallet you shared ever again.

How do you that the person has your seed phrase, did he withdraw the funds already because some of these cannot be about someone holding your seed phrase alone but can also be tracked back to things like phishing. So it is best that you find out how that wallet got compromised.

Just as you have pointed out the worst is that the hacker spends the $14 funds which cannot be recovered again so do not fall for tricks of people saying that it can be recovered. The advice for you is to abandon that wallet and never deposit again on that wallet. Use cold storage for large amounts of storage.

if someone already has your pharse wallet, just change the addres immediately. the existing balance sends to the new addres. if you still use it when there is a lot of balance, you will definitely lose your coins.

The right word should be change of wallet because a single wallet can multiple address that can be assessed by one seed phrase, so if a seed phrase is compromised then that entire wallet is compromised and no need to change address
