Yep this is what I wanted to avoid with SolidCoins, and it appears to have worked. Many more people have a share of the early wealth which creates more stable market conditions.

In i0coins case 4 or 5 people had 90% of the first 100-200K coins and could do whatever they wanted with the market. Currently on the SolidCoin exchange there are more buy orders than coins exist, so that should tell you something.

Someone sold A TON OF i0 COINS overnight. Woke up to an empty buy book. Lost about 10 BTC on i0, ohh well.  Made out fairly decently on IX to cover the loss on i0.
