This said it does remind me of the Happy Tree Friend days though,and I do agree Elsagate is weird and some things are just messed up.

Technically we did have rules about not advertising to kids but the internet kind of bypassed that ... so this is why we have TV standards lol.

Happy TF is a unique show, each episode trying hard to be defined as something you'll remember. . Not true with any of the elsagate vids. Not meant to be remembered at all. Across (and within) a multitude of channels it's the same script, same animations, same stories, over and over. H3H3 did a video about some youtubers who switched to elsa spiderman mode overnight. So far I haven't seen any major channels pushing for knowing what's going on. The big guys don't care about their intellectual properties being monetized using disgusting images directed to very, very young children. Some of the videos have zero product placements, yet they push the same 'rituals'.

New videos everyday of the same stuff, Millions of views, with bizarre nonsense comments. Everyday on all the elsagate channels.

I think it is more about pointing out the way we are controlled by our environment, from the talking clock to the ear bleedingly loud personal computer. they are trying to soften the horrors of what they are showing you by taking a format we associate with kids. if anything, it makes it soo much more terrifying.

some of the videos in that series dont make a tap of fucking sense, however, like the ISIS puppet thing where you couldnt understand what they were saying.

but this isnt quite what the op was talking about, DHMIS was artistic, and had a message. this crazy shit, if for the kids, is obviously something psyop. trolls be damned, who has time to make something this absurd and innane, just for LOLz?

could they possibly get ad rev for this? seems like youtube would shut this down immediately Sad

Yeah this is getting to be insane with the amount of channels popping up doing it. They take characters that all kids know and do really weird and messed up things. Demonic stuff, blood, gore, rapey stuff, molesty stuff, teach you the wrong morals, teach your kids to misbehave, learn bad habits, everything is just negative.

Then they make it into a catchy song. Yes, they are monetixed and getting paid for it in many many cases. YTis starting to crackdown though.

H3h3 videos did something on it and some other channels are calling out the insanity.

It is all part of some weird scheme to make money and corrupt kids at the same time. It is exposing kids to sex and sexualizing kids content, the kids in turn are going to become sexualied because of this and that is terrible. It is going to cause trauma in a lot of kids and they will need therapy.

The shutting down should come from all the IP owners: Disney (Mickey, Spiderman, Elsa), Pepsi, Coca Cola, etc, etc... And yet. Nothing. "Finger Family" is a common link with lots of them.

Hi I am back from a long period of away time :)

Yeah there is a lot of weird crap going on with youtube.

Elsa and spiderman videos of her being attacked, fingers cut off, blood and guys, simulated rape. It is all very terrible. And the videos start off looking like a kids video, or the title of video and thumbnail is made to look like a kids video, so kids click it. Nasty shit.

"Don't hug me i'm scared" reminds me of Meet The Feebles - Peter Jackson. Dark, rebellious, pushing for shock value. They are unique and well made. You want to reject them or laugh at them. They were never meant or created for a very young public audience. The videos I am describing have no punch lines, no dark humor, are not unique. The colors, themes and stories are the same, over and over again, as in a way to brainwash the young viewers. The characters are not the same, the animations are not copy pasted, so that a child would not be bored and stop watching the screen after a little while. Some people are working hard producing those hundreds of videos. The purpose for it eludes me.

I hope the Bitcointalk community, especially parents with young children, will help rooting out these people, or at least be aware of the situation and the danger. Millions upon millions of views as of now. I tried youtube kids app and sure enough it was easy to see some videos after a search.

This is beyond any political views imho.
