I just came off a 5 day ban. It sucks, but I was in the wrong so I had no recourse but to take it like a man. You really start to see how little resources and BTC knowledge is out there if you don't have bitcointalk for asking questions and having discussions.
I didn't spam, but I don't think anyone tolerates it, you'll just get reported and shut out into the cold.
Really though, you are a member of a pretty great community, funny, smart, helpful, crazy, you get a little bit of everything here. Treat your membership as a privelege and respect what you got. It will enrich your experience and evyone else's too

Can you say what it was? You don't spam so it is surprising. It may help others to avoid what you did.
I find it hard to believe that a hero member was banned for breaking some forum rule after being here for 17+ months
