The Idea will be helpful but do you know the procedure to take? I don't think mod will pay attention to this because there is already a search pattern only that it not effective as I wish it to have be.

There is so many interesting topics that may be useful in the process of scrolling through topics. I urge you insert the topic into the search engine if you consider scrolling through topics is waste of time.

Everything needed in the search engine is available but for the fact is not working in accordance as expect doesn't mean is not functioning. But I suggest you type in the topics you want to reply to if already know the topics, This idea will save your time to have spent going through topics line by line.

I can also suggest to have an option to search for based on the topics and by posts so that I could have filter the search results. Most of the time I saw broad results over the search and that made me the difficulty to scan the results and get into the information I wanted.

Though I know that the forum is still developing, I was only hoping that the help button will improve the users experience to search for a certain information he like to get. So far, I am getting used to the search button but then again, it would also be good to have a better search results experience.

If the admin can  read post like this. Hope they will improve it and take the forum search function into a better phasecin lesrning for cryptocurrency especially bitcoin.
In situation like that and you know the title or some information that can be found on that topic is that I will search it on google e.g merit and new rank requirements bitcointalk.org then add bitcointalk.org or bitcointalk at the end of it the  search. I have forgotten the thread's title but I know some information so I tried doing it then got the result I wanted. It was about withdrawal fee of casinos. You just need to be resourceful but there are tools created by forum user which helps you search what you wanted like the tool mentioned in above post.

The forum search tool isn't really helpful.
I usually use ninjastic.space to find posts. It sorts posts by their time.

The tool has been created by TryNinja and you can read more details about it in the topic below.

If you open the search page, there is an option at the bottom titled "Search order" which you can switch to either "Most recent topics first" or "Oldest topics first". It doesn't however let you search by the age of the individual post.

You could always perform consecutive searches changing the "Search age" fields. First search between 0 and 49 days, then 50 and 99 days, then 100 and 149 days, etc.

Can we make the search results sortable by date? Wouldn't that be helpful?
