Hi

Nice to have South African exchange ,BUT wtf man. Roll Eyes

withdrawals is what ? up to certain amount ever ?
and buy-ins are always like 20% higher than what the price should be.
Seems a bit like they use the customers Rands to use against the customers on the buy side propping up prices .A Very good ploy for them that can trade against their own customers. No way to lose if you can buy coins ,even if price falls your customers trading in a bubble that you can still sell at top prices.Arbitrage heaven for them

Lol poor traders or Customers are just cows for you to milk it seems to me.
Easy to take a profit by selling from a Global Exchange but to get out again is impossible if your withdraw limit reached and buy-in is at ridiculous rates lol

Is this shit Scam Trading 101?

Connect Api so trade is fair not using your customers funds against them.
South Africans should use swift and buy at real Global prices
Register at Global Exchanges , use South Africa to withdraw at good profit, well until withdraw limit reached lol

Sorry my blab was pointed towards Altcoin Trader 0.042BTC  markup per BTC buy. Thats R6,443 or $435.7 you in the hole before you even trade.

LUNO has the same buy-in at this time of a extra  0.042BTC per each BTC you buy
ICE3X also offering bubble prices but in first place with 0.030 BTc markup per Btc at this time

Based on your experience which platform is the best in South Africa? And why?

We do not favor any exchange in particular.

The best is defined in terms of need e.g., I need to sell 5 BTC or I need to buy 10 ETH. That will determine which exchange is best to use at that moment for e.g. I can get 10 ETH for R50,000 at Luno or I can get 10 ETH at Altcointrader for R48,000

In our experience its then best to have accounts at all of them and then to act accordingly when needed.

Thanks for the answer. I have always argued that an exchange that dominates a market is useless on its own and the presence of competition brings opportunity (arbitrage and the like)

HOW TO BUY BITCOIN IN SOUTH AFRICA

The South African Cryptocurrency market is constantly evolving and new players are entering the market frequently, each with their own unique strengths. We did our best to find and test the local South African based and operating Exchanges and to find out more about them.

Once you have decided to buy Bitcoin, making a standard EFT bank transfer to a Bitcoin Exchange is one of the safest ways to do this. Rand (ZAR) transfers are usually credited to your account within hours to days, depending on the bank that you have transferred from and to.

When your account is credited, you can use the South African Rand (ZAR) to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum and other Cryptocurrencies.
