Man, I used to enjoy watching South Park for free without ads.  Now they had to sell out.  I'm sort of an OCD person so I had to watch every episode in order, up to the season that aired before this current season and I still have a couple episodes to watch.  Now I either have to choose between a shady streaming website that doesn't have 1080p or skipping ahead in the season.  I really wish South Park didn't sell out.

Since the only way I can get TV "programming" (what passes as shows for the pablum that most are) is by satellite and I have to pay a hefty sum each month, I feel I should not have to be paying for commercials. Commercials were originally supposed to be the way over the air TV paid its bills and made a profit so to stay in business. Since I'm paying for the satellite signal and the monthly rental of decoders to display it on my televisions, I shouldn't also have to suffer through commercials as I've already paid for the signal. Since I know this is a wish in vain, I watch more PBS and what little commercial free programming is available and purposely don't buy any product I see advertised.

South Park would be better without commercials, or since we know that'll never happen, then a block at the start and end of the show, with nothing but show inside that sandwich of time. Most one hour shows are actually about 40 minutes of actual show you want to watch and 20 minutes of commercials. So place 10 minutes at the beginning, have the show we want to watch next, followed by 10 minutes of commercials at the end.

Yeah, I know... won't happen.

Yeah man, I completely agree with you.  Too bad there's no shutting down the vapid consumerism of corporate America.
