Folks here are right. Each country (as well as each person) can create cryptocurrency. The question is if it is be good and if it is supported by others. Russia for instance creates its crypto ruble, but I doubt that it will be used outside their country.

I am happy to Sweden is doing great job with paperless currency!

Sweden : The report continued that physical bills and coins amount to just 2% of the country’s economy. The U.S., meanwhile, is at 7.7%.

Every country can launch their own cryptocurrency but if that currency  got control and regulated by goverment whats the different from fiat money it self. And i dont think in country such palestine cryptocurrency can work perfectly because not all of their people can use it, how cryptocurrency will help them if there still war in every street corner. and if they want to make print money they cant cause they need israelr approval first. so the solution is stop the war. Sry if this post be like more politic talk, cant avoid that cause you talk about palestine.

Not sure it has some politics at all, I am just wondering a nation without any legal tender...
