Well, if you want to give up on them, I might be interested to buy them if we are not too far from each other (I'm in Canada)

Nope and it looks like I need a special console connector not just any rs232 to rj45 connector

if that doesn't work you can also try to boot it up with a cable into the console connector if you have one ...

I have two sp20's that just turn on and never become available on the network. The network lights flash but the green or yellow light never flash. The boards are good as I tested them with another controller. I'm assuming either they have static ip's and I can't find them or the controllers are bad. any ideas on what to try. Is there a way to login to them thru usb or RS-232.

Some people have been successful by pre-heating it with a hairdryer (a bit not over heating).
