I've got 8 units showing up from member MCHouston tomorrow.  If you can't get that one to work, hit me up and I could probably turn loose of one.  I'm pretty sure he/she's taken decent care of them.

Agreed. It's a simple and effective solution.

I've had to deal with it before. I purchase most of my equipment second-hand and unfortunately, sometimes things go wrong. I'll wait to hear what they have to say, but I doubt they'll have a suitable answer or excuse.

I'll try messing around with the recovery process again. But I'm fairly certain that it's dead. Which isn't surprising since the seller did a terrible job packing it. The top piece of cardboard packing material that it ships with was missing and I'm sure that it took more than a few good smacks on the top of the box.

I contacted the seller explaining the situation and providing an opportunity to assist before I request a refund. Hopefully they know something I don't. Otherwise, I'm sending this junk back.

I miss being able to buy from SP-Tech directly.

That is sad they come in one of the best packaging boxes of anyone when they were new.  It's cardboard that surrounds miner, and gives it a little give if there is a bump.

The hard part is if you open it to check if something is loose seller will probey use that against you to try not to give refund.  So I cant think of good way to check connections inside if it does not work.  I don't want to make you lose a dispute because I suggest to open.

Two 750W EVGA units. I've also tried it with a pair of Corsairs and a 1300W EVGA unit. Same results.

I would normally say do SD reset.  But you mentioned that did not work.

I suggest asking seller what the IP address.  This allows us to see if IP range is in right area, or of it needs changed.  I would keep in contact with seller on some questions as worst case you have to do a dispute if it will not run no matter what.

What brand/model PSU are you using?   Do you have a seperate PCI-e cable for each plug-in?

It could be power if it is trying to hash as it's booting up and could possibly have other's persons info.  So that is what makes me look at PSU first.

Hey everybody

I just grabbed a used SP20 off of eBay to add to my rig and I've encountered a bit of a problem. When I wire everything up and turn on the power the fans spin up but there is no response beyond that. No network connection, no status lights.

I've tried an SD card with both the recovery and boot images, but no luck. It feels like the control board it the source of the problem, but I wanted to ask if there's anything I've overlooked. Thoughts?
