All banks have evil intentions so Im not happy about this. Im sure they have a hidden agenda and they will in a way take advantage out of supporting Bitcoin.

Thats a good news for us, but actually I dont think any bank doing that for bitcoin development. I guess they just explain how to use bitcoin, and will change bitcoin with its own coin in the end. http://vision.visaeurope.com/bbva-wants-bitcoins-tech-not-the-currency/

Yeah maybe you're right. But at the moment they promote Bitcoin this way and that is good.
And they wouldn't do this if Bitcoin would be this dangerous shady devilish currency right?!
So people with a little brain later will ask themselves: "why BBVA showed us how to use Bitcoin and now wants us to switch to their own currency? Something is weird here, gotta check that."
Sounds right, but maybe I think that bank will tell its customers that it have a better coin than bitcoin for them, so those people will follow what bank told them since they have trusted that bank. I think a bank cant cooperate with bitcoin, because both of them have different principal.

Move On !!!!!!
Well tbis is absolutely great! Need I say more, but we are on the right track. We will see more and more moves likes this in the future, by many banks. Yes, some will stay aside and conservative but these will be obliged to change the colors and noin us eventually!

Great video! I am Spanish, and amazed that the BBVA did this. It is great for sharing with friends, family, etc.

However, BBVA does nothing that they cannot profit from. I wonder ... where is the profit for them? Perhaps they are allied with Blockchain?

I bet they are figuring out how to be a bank for bitcoin. They'll get their profit that way.

Maybe they profit indirectly due to lower network and hosting fees? Miners basically take care of a lot of the infrastructure required.

In this article in El Mundo, Francisco Gonzalez, the president of BBVA already says that they will become a software company.

I suppose Bitcoin is in the right path for that vision.

Wow, those are awesome news! If they are going into software and they already have Bicoin in mind... well, that is huge, as it is the second most important bank in Spain.

Thanks for sharing this!

Because of knowing not everybody is checking the press section...here you go

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8S-wkpBDW0

It's the first time I see a bank doing active promotion of how to use Bitcoin.
Isn't it a bit like the postal office would have explained you in the 90's how e-mail works?

I also recommend their second video to watch.

i dont understand voice its all gobble were doo these tribesmen come from

Are you incapable of reading subtitles? Maybe you are the tribesman and you should go back to your tribe, it seems computers and let alone Bitcoin will be way too much for you, considering you can't read.

BTW I remember seeing the BBVA brand in a speech by Andreas Antonopolous, it seems they are really pro-bitcoin.
Yep I remember this, it was this one:

I was surprised to see a big bank supporting Bitcoin, it seems they are really supporting it and it's not the "blockchain only" bullshit.

www.Crypto.Games: Multiple coins, multiple games
This is a great effort from BBVA bank. Hopefully, Bitcoin will get adopted by more people and thus, there would be mainstream adoption. Not to mention, that this might help the price to increase in the future. Just my opinion  Roll Eyes

awesome, i cant beleive it, but the account "BBVA Innovation Center" is the official from BBVA bank? if yes then this is just his first clear steps pro-bitcoin and im talking about that bank.

good news at all Wink

BBVA innovation center is part of BBVA. It is the part where research and development for future businesses is done.
Every bank is having such kind of innovation laboratory. And if not at least since the appearence of crypto currencies they have.
Every release, publication is arranged and gets agreed.
