Climate change is real. As Humans we need to develop the technology to deal with it ASAP. We have the potential to and I don't see any reason why we shouldn't. This is good news and I hope there are more similar projects started going forward. Governments around the world must provide incentives to companies and individuals who are developing this sector. Sounds cool. Would be interested to hear more details on their proposal to use an ICO to address climate change. There are many options for coping with climate change. Emissions are one. Afforestation, seed bombing and mass replanting of trees is another. Better insulation for homes, electric cars rather than internal combustion engines, renewable energy.
There are many options on the table as far as climate change goes. Even more information on global dimming which makes winters colder via air pollution blocking/reflecting light particles, heat energy from the sun, could help.

Well let's hope this works. It probably will not as it is the first of its kind, but let's do our best to at least promote it and see what happens. Climate change is real and we need to develop our technology in order to control it.
The more technology evolves the more they require power, and the production of electricity contributes to global warming. View how much energy you need to spend for the work of the miners. The number of crypto currencies is constantly growing, and hence the power consumption increases.

I am sure that cryptocurrency can be so valuable in the fight against the ill-effects of climate change. There are so many areas that this new cryptocurrency can address on. This fight against climate change is a noble project and we should be doing our share to make the burden lighter.
