I was reading this thread and am amazed that a big name like Spectrocoin is scamming people. They have a big name in the crypto world. I don't use their self but wonder why they should scam people. Doesn't it cost them money if people become customers? They can only earn more money from customers. Bad reviews would only cost them a lot of customers? Nowadays there is a lot of competition.

Spectrocoin are selective scammers, and therefore you will find kindness from them until you make mistakes or want to withdraw your money, then everything will change.

Unfortunately, many of the things they do are unethical, but legal, or need to be considered in court to determine who is at fault, as they put many legal loopholes in terms of service that allow them to control your account.

the cost of appointing a judge will be much more than the settlement amount, and they may return the money to you, but their policy depends on taking the money of everyone who doubts that he can legally prove how he obtained it or violated the terms of service.

After all this happened, wrote them here, on reddit, on fb, they contacted me and refunded the remaining balance.. However i dont wanna go through this experience again..

well, thanks for clarifying, did anyone sue them or started any legal process against them? It's not acceptable in 2020 for someone to behave as a company like this...

Hi all folks. Let me pour a bit my soul here:
It started in 2018 when i created a wallet where i would buy and deposit btc from qiwi atm's. All well and fine until they changed their policies. In 2019 I deposited 400 euro and later i would wanted to spend them and here started the whole drama. I couldn't, they were asking for several documents I would not submit as I read from others it's a f*cking scam and waste of time. Straight forward till 2020 I've decided to submit my documents as btc rised and pretty much doubled my money. And then I was shocked some other was trying to submit other person's documents, luckily the money was still there. I have nicely asked what it's happening, booked a video call with them, explained the situation, shown them my id, some personal information, everything went smooth, they said I will be notified through email. The email never came and they locked my account, I nicely asked today what's going on why they locked it and simply responded through their chat on website "due to our internal policies". (not to say i've been trying every 3-4 days to reach someone to explain what's happening and NO RESPONSE FROM NOBODY) It's not much money, like 0.06 btc but how they treated me it's an absolutely joke and I really want to sue them, anyone in the same situation?
