Spoetnik likes to think of himself as a Defender of all things crypto. Scam ousting is an honourable endeavour, but lately Spoetnik seems to be singling out Monero in particular. Monero has been slandered relentlessly since it launched in April 2014, mostly by Darkcoin fanatics (now DASH) who launched their coin in January 2014 and didn't want any other competition in the Anon space. Now as far as scams go, Monero is very low on the list. Meanwhile, the amount of shadiness coming from the Dash camp is almost unbelievable and unparalleled, yet Spoetnik doesn't even bat an eyelid.

Considering Spoetnik lost any BTC he may have had by investing in Jackpotcoin, it would seem plausible that Darkcoin/DASH or someone affiliated with them is paying Spoetnik to attack Monero at any opportunity. Especially given Darkcoin's history of false flag attacks and faking PMs from Satoshi Nakamoto (what audacity). Details here -> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12879397

Simple yes/no poll, you can see the results once you vote.

I'm no fan of Dash nor Spoetnik but please stfu already

+1, stop opening this idiotic threads. You're just making a fool of yourself and simultaneously damaging the image of Monero.

Who would pay Spoetnik for his misspelled drunk uncle rants?

I am not talking about him. Talking about DrkLvr_, the idiot who opened this thread.

LOL, I know, I was doubling down on your comment on this thread. I think DrkLvr is letting his enthusiasm for Monero cloud his judgement and isn't an idiot, but is more playing down to the inane accusations leveled at Monero. I'd rather not see baseless supposition met with equal baseless supposition.

Neither do I, but to be honest he is provoking that kind of inane accusations with FUDing and opening these kind of threads. If he would've abstained from that in the first place, other people would not have retorted with those inane accusations.

Yet another sensationalistic but useless thread about promoting DASH or XMR and bashing the other. It's like supporters of either of these two coins can only promote their shit by bashing the other.

I agree.
I also never lost anything on Jackpotcoin.. you don't lose your coins until you click sell.
I also don't care about money.. i care about Crypto
How fat my wallet is makes no difference to me.

I have not been paid for anything in crypto either.
Aside from making guys pay to try my beta miner fro Securecoin way back.
i did that when a guy said he rolled my miner out on a shit load of server's (Botnet)
and my miner had a bug that made it stop earning coins.
The guy simply grabbed the zip file i posted on the Chatbox then left it running unattended for 24 hrs
Then came back bitching at me about it..
I told guys on chat i NEED feedback and it's beta.. i warned lot's, i might break it LOL
It was also a pain in the ass sharing it by posting links.
But if i didn't share i was bitched at for keeping it private too !
If i did share i was accused of posting a virus etc LOL

Mullick had told me on chat 1 guy said i posted a virus and i have a PM here saying i was
not allowed to post zip files on chat anymore for a while. (still have the PM)
I had 1 good tester didn't need anymore and i was getting more and more noobs that didn't know what it was about
or understand the changes i was making.. that made it a pain re-explaining how the miner works again and again.
And all these guy's wanted was more coins.. nobody was giving me any feedback.
Just bunch of greedy guys saying gimme gimme..

So ?

What i did was i coded a security check into the miner to unlock any beta testing experimental features.
It would still function fine using the stable hashing algo with all other tweaks etc.
But i asked for donations to make sure i had more serious testers and less of them in total.
Another guy had simply sold his miner for it too.. i was not doing that i was running a beta and changing lots fast 24/7.
That other guy was simply selling his miner for a fee and i just asked for a small donation.
This was all for Secure Coin & Quark

Other than that i have had no involvement with anything really.

And Monero Speculation ?
A topic that has 560 pages ?
I look occasionally and i see bag holders using that topic as MSN chat.
They bump it to the top of the page every hour or so with lots of dummy accounts.
They are obnoxious assholes.

@gnargnar
Wow man no jab at me ? Wink
I am surprised i am saying i agree with you here LOL

Another childish bashing thread of X versus Y.
The downward spiral.

This new thread won't help a bit the continuous downtrend of your loved alt. After so many threads using the same recipe that produce only negative effects for the coin, one would start to think out of the box and use another approach, but so far not. Just another nail on the coffin...
