Lol ok so I had to make a cable, I used a heavy gauge cable for welders or driers or something that had a 110v plug on one side and bare wire on the other.... I cut down a PSU plug with an angle grinder, exposed the connector pads enough I could solder to them, soldered the heavier wire onto it (with heatshrink tubing around each one), encased all those connections in a big ball of hot glue, and connected the other end's bare wires to my stove.

Just running one of the two boards but I'm happily getting 1.5TH/s for now!   Later tomorrow I'll get the right cords, run both boards, and tweak the settings until I can hopefully get it up to the 4.7 rated max.

Any suggested settings I should use like voltage / fan speed etc?  For now that's mostly all the default, I lowered my 'reset if under 3000' to 0 so hopefully it just doesn't reset, and set my fan speed to 'Auto' (from '80').

Thanks for your help!

I use 10 amp rated C13 to C14's, and run them to APC power distribution units, which have a C14 plug for the receptacle and a NEMA 6L30 locking plug for the 230v incoming.

Of course I'm a stickler for cable management. A 3 prong regular dryer outlet will work fine. You only need single phase 230v, not 3 phase 240v.

Hey thanks for the info.

Guess I'm getting a new cord tomorrow morning!

Can I use a three prong dryer / oven 220v outlet or does it have to be the four prong?

Maybe you know exactly what kind of cord I should be using off Amazon etc?

Thanks again

SP30's won't run on 110v. The power supply isn't getting enough juice to feed the miner. The fans will kick on for the supplies, but nothing else.

Hi

I got a SP30 in from ebay today, and I'm having some troubles getting it running.  Maybe someone here could offer some pointers?

When I plug it in, I get ethernet lights but no ready/info lights (except the ready light does turn on for a couple seconds when I first power it on)

I found the SDRECOVERY.rar and SDBOOT.rar files on wayback machine, and I tried using win32DiskImager to write them to a new 16gb class 10 sd card, and it does show up in windows as expected (with boot.img etc), but neither seems to produce any effect in the device.

For the moment, I'm running it off 110 using two separate cables, and the fans do kick on, seems to be getting power, but it does not show up in my router's list of attached devices.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.  Thanks!

PS: Does anyone know what the little switch in front is for?
