Thank you both so much for your help. I figured out that I would pay .27cents /kWH ... making the miner cost nearly $583 per month to mine ... I did a profit calculator on bitcoin and I would make about $100/month in bitcoin. Really glad you helped me see that!

Considering the shipping costs and the efficiency of those miners I would not take that deal.
As always, it depends... You get 4.5THs for around 3kW which is quite a bit more than current miners will do - Consider a previous generation S7 running at 4.8THs was rated about 1.3kW, and the latest R4 and S9 units will do basically 1THs per 100W.
So what do you pay for all those kWs you'll need? That will tell you if you can run older gen miners with any semblance of ROI.

Im new to BitCoin Mining. I have the opportunity to start ... on eBay there are 6 - Spondoolies SP30's for sale in the US, I'm from Australia .. I can get them for $300 each .. it is a large purchase as shipping is about $2500. Are these good units? it is mentioned that they produce 4.5 TH/s ... that seems pretty good ... can I mine BitCoins profitably with these machines? He mentioned that they are at least 2 years old .. so I don't want to be caught out buying junk.
