This situation has already been cleaned up.. user was paid, happy ending.

Happy endings are nice.  Glad to see you guys taking care of these issues.

I appreciate the attention of other sportsbooks for sure, it is really flattering.
But if i had 5 outstanding scam accusations on my bitcointalk history (old thread that was shut down), id be careful stepping into someone elses $100 issue myself.

But that's the whole point, deflecting attention from their own accusations.  The more ancient threads they dig up about sportsbet the more people will flock to their scam site, right?  Isn't that how it works?  Roll Eyes

OP I told you to be patient, please you can now lock the thread to avoid trollers spamming here

Or leave it unlocked.  I'm curious to see how many times the AdkinsBET shills bump this thread while completely failing to recognize that the issue has been resolved.

I am glad that this issue has been solved, I thought the OP just gave up since he stopped posting updates about his issue because it is taking too long to be solved. glad you cleared that up and is always glad to see you replying on accusation against your website here in the forum.

I want to warn everybody for Sportsbet.io
They got many DT members who giving false negative trust to defend this scam bookie.
Sportsbet.io biggest scam together with 1xbit.
Just look on Google.

Another case from the 1000 cases:

Hi! I have opened an account with them (my first one), deposited 0.31115 BTC and made 56 bets on badminton, 15 of which lost, 1 void, 40 won. I ended up with 0.69215 BTC, so merely doubled the amount with huge effort through out a week. After that my account was blocked and KYC requested - I sent a bank statement and my passport, also made pictures with me holding my passport. After that they asked me if i know 3 other profile names (which i did not know) and then told me that my account remains blocked and funds will not be released (only my deposit of 0.31115 BTC), claiming that I had several accounts - which is simply not true.

I just want everyone to know that this kind of behaviour has to be expected and thus for players its a lose-lose situation. Maybe they got taken over by 1xbet? They are the only ones that I know behaving like that... its a pity.

Stop lying - This happens to people who are multi-accounting or not being super-careful with vpns and getting IP's used by other gamblers.

So yeah... Stop trollying there "Trolly"... Roll Eyes

Any site could actually tell you to wait a second but takes weeks to deliver but this is not the case with Sportsbet.io. I'd suggest you PM Steve @Sportsbet.io he always get back.

But how could you have left your account for so long? Sportsbet.io is not a wallet. C'mon man!!

It's not like I had a choice, they locked up my account I wasn't able to withdraw my money when I wanted to and I didn't really understand why the sudden need for my documents ? it felt extremely shady for me at that time which is why I refused and just went on with my days.

I already posted on the sportsbet thread and gave him my username.

I mean, let's admit for a second that this is just a matter of time, would it kill them to reply to my emails like any professional support service would do and simply inform me "Hey this process actually takes some time, so please bear with us" ... ?

How weird, they were replying pretty fast before sending my documents but as soon as I sent them, they instantly vanished.  Smiley
Like you said you've been using it for 3 years now without any problems problem that's some level of trust. I'm also a customer of sportsbet and I'm way sure I bet above $100 per weekend, both my withdrawal and deposits goes smoothly, maybe in your case the account has been dormant for a long time and for security reasons it was locked to save your funds, and running KYC is the only means of verifying you are the real owner of the account.

They got the documents they wanted from me and are now ignoring me.
This is a KYC process we are talking about please exercise a little patient, sometimes if the documents are not clear enough it goes through the manual process.

I hope you get back your account and continue playing.

I sent them a message on Twitter and even the guy there told me that "It shouldn't take that long."

Agree with @igehhh because from the OP's statement it looks like he has left his funds on the website a long time ago which means he just keeps his money there without making a bet. Therefore, I don't think it is surprising when the team asks you to send KYC until your account is locked, I have experienced this kind of problem too, but in a different sportsbook my account was frozen at that time. But after I PMs sportsbook support here on bitcointalk at that time, the problem can be resolved quickly and hopefully after you contact sportsbet support here your problem can be resolved quickly too.

Hello,

I have an account at sportsbet.io that I've been using for 3~ years, never ever did I face any problem with depositing & withdrawing money, but a few months ago (almost a year) after depositing $100 in Bitcoin ($100 at that time so with the current price pump it should be worth more), they suddenly lock up my account and told me to contact them at [email protected] which I did, and then they asked me to "undertake a Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure"...which seemed extremelly weird for me at that time, I've been using their website for years and never once was I asked to submit my documents, so why now ? so I simply refused believing that it wasn't worth it for me to pretty much sell out my privacy to this company to just get back a hundred bucks.

But as I said earlier, it was $100 at that time, and with the current price pump I was eager to get MY money back! (a reminder that those aren't bitcoins that I won in their website, I had just deposited them)

So I contacted them a few days ago, agreed to undertake their "KYC procedure", submitted a picture of my passport and an internet bill (where both my name and address are visible), they replied with a  www.veriff.com link where I basically had to take another picture of my passport AND a selfie and told me to email them back when I'm done with the verification process which I did....but now they are ignoring me  Smiley

How weird, they were replying pretty fast before sending my documents but as soon as I sent them, they instantly vanished.  Smiley

TLDR: They locked up my account and are holding my money hostage, they got the documents they wanted from me and are now ignoring me.

What exactly is going on with this company ? I feel like I'm being robbed of both my money and my documents.

My email exchange with the support before they started ignoring me : https://pastebin.com/ZPamKG1m
