I actually don't mind Maguire for United or England. Granted he is not the best technician or speediest defender out there but he reads the game quite well and he will get all the air duels in the match. It is up to the manager/coach to organize the defense to suit him. You have to push opposition players to the flanks and then he will make good work of all those crosses. If you leave him one on one with fast players he is doomed

Actually, it can be denied... I love betting in football against China when they face some of the inner Asia opponents or even Taipei at times. They're not shit, they've been improving a lot but they're still not up to World Cup par -- do you realise a large portion of goals scored in their leagues are from imports?

I have said in the past I'd prefer predicting on leagues I'm familiar with but maybe it's only fair to the wider userbase who actually do watch and play and bet on these leagues -- after all, Chinese league is the sleeping giant. I don't watch too many games from there, and only when extremely bored but they do seem to be picking up in quality. And the same unpredictability we used to see in the European leagues before.

well, if there is no Chinese country participating then I don't think the match will be exciting, because it cannot be denied that China is the toughest opponent in every sporting match, they have extraordinary strength. so there is no harm if there are still players from China who are participants in this match.

Interesting! I put a couple of parlays down on the Friday lineups already, but none of them are in this MM. What do you think about upsets here? England might wobble (if you think the Maquire incident will have an impact, and English teams usually can't escape some kind of scandal haha). But I'm also considering a Turkish upset from the Serbs... will have a think before putting my selections on this one. Exciting!

I saw that but I believe it was only because the table showed results from last week MM at that point. No way anybody had 9 at that point and there was a bunch of guys with 8 with all the Sunday games to be played. It was some mistake from Sportsbet side for sure.

Same here, this is already 6th or 7th time I was one away from the money. Good thing I managed to break the barrier on one of the eSports MM but I had to share the reward with a lot of people so meh.

When I checked the leaderboard with 3 games left to play I saw there was a sole person with 9 correctly selected.
But when I went back to check they were no longer on there (they had a name I never seen on there before something like Ph1x***) and has 6 separate winners with 8 after seeing my ticket was graded.
I had 6 wins started off with all 3 correct for the first day but didn't have any correctly picked yesterday. Roll Eyes

So at that point knew I didn't have a chance to catch up with todays remaining matches.

Can't wait until they just have Premier/La Liga/Bundesliga just like they've had before for the matches in the multimasters to choose from.
Even tennis from the ATP/WTA would be better than these matches playing at weird times. Where most can't watch them unless it is 3/4am in the morning. Cheesy

Still lost on that draw like a few others on my betslip.
Can't wait until they get rid of these Chinese/Japanese league games in the multimasters as there should be plenty of games when the other leagues start up the first weeks of September so we can have a normal one for a change.
Even the russian games are tough to figure out. I never watched them before and dont enjoy even watching the final few minutes to see what the results would be.
But that is totally up to them to decide what to do for the next one.

I think there is something wrong with the current leaderboard, at the time of writing this post 9 games have finished (including the Lens/PSG which is postponed). Atalanta and Orlando (game #10) playing right now, and in the leaderboard, we have two guys with 9 correct predictions (three draws and Dalian Pro win)...hard to believe, also, people with all correct guesses used not show up in the standings unless they get one wrong. So yeah, weird!

Anyway, super annoying that Vissel Kobe scored two goals in 90+ min, some of us had Yokohama F to win. At least i got something out of it...screen.

Same here been busy with some other things and forgot to post my selections. I did place them a couple of days ago and it did seem to be going quite well until todays first game.
I had 3-3 from yesterdays matches but picked kobe for the first match of today which just ended. Undecided

Will see how the draws on the ones I picked goes towards the 5+ games left to play later in the day.
