OP, why are you so adamant to keep playing? I mean it's not like sportsbet.io has a VIP level that you keep since they have a different VIP system than most other sites.
You complain that you "lost a lot", so why do you want to keep going? Obviously you have some kind of issue that was discovered by the people working for sp.io, and as mentioned before they HAVE TO ban you if there are any signs of problematic gambling. If they don't take action they violate their license agreement and may lose the license.
He stated his belief was Sportsbet closed his account because they were worried he would win back those losses he incurred and would make a profit. The analogy is completely flawed, I think he used the words "they were scared he would win".

What is clear is this, if someone was registered at a gaming/casino website and one day found their account closed, they should ask for the reasons and when told (whether they accept or refute it) they should at least be dignified enough to stop chasing them to re-open the account. If they wanted to carry on betting there are many other options, he can choose from many different casinos.

We also had people here that admitted to gambling problems and made a scam accusation against a site (don't remember which one, guess it was BC or rollbit) because the site didn't take action even though he told them in the chat about his addiction. So he continued gambling and obviously lost more, then came here to complain that they didn't take action while knowing about it and threatened to sue.
Obviously sp.io doesn't want a similar situation and did the only thing they could.
If there are concerns about possible problem gambling or possible addiction, any reputable casino should take appropriate action.

You need to understand this before blaming everybody for commenting here. It's not about casino promotion, it's stricktly about that you are wrong in this one and your temper won't help you to get any support as well!
The OP is frustrated at how he claims he was mistreated by the casino therefore he has alienated almost very member that has taken an interest in the matter. He thinks by posting here members are not really interested in the issues but are just promoting their signatures or they are working for the casino. That attitude does not help.

As a result of the approach the OP has taken, I have no sympathy for his predicament as far as him not being allowed to bet at Sportsbet is concerned because of his attitude. Regardless of what he might state, we do not know if he has a gambling addiction or not but I have lost interest in anything he has to say. It is possible that their observations on OP account is true and would in their own efforts try to see how they could help OP possibly control his gambling lifestyle if at all OP would give in to it and allow them to come up with I resolution.

In my opinion, when someone creates a thread in this section, it should be as clear as possible, by that I mean that the person should tell all the details of what happened. In this case, you need to tell what you said in the chat or email that led the casino team to think that you have a gambling problem. Because from what I understand, you don't have any money in your casino account at the moment and if the casino only cared about money, they could let you keep playing and they would be making a profit. But the casino is showing that they care about you, they don't want you to have a gambling problem. In my opinion, you should stop playing. It's been 5 years of playing as you said, so stop playing for a few years.

I remember in past threads posted here in the forum where an account was banned for saying suicidal thoughts on live chat. now I am curious about what was said that led to OP's account being temporarily closed. I'm guessing it is less concerning than what I previously mentioned since the account was just temp[orarily closed(at the moment)

sorry man but your age doesn't really mean anything to them and I doubt they are scared that you'll recover the money you lost on their website. also, casinos usually have protocols they have to follow when they see a gambler showing signs of gambling problems(doesn't matter if they only gamble 10% of the money they earn).

Actually, the ones who commented on your thread are mostly those who frequently overseeing cases and disputes against casinos, whom usually don't really care about their signature post count and more interested to get things done. But, okay, let's break this down further and dive deeper, do you have other accounts on other casinos? Stake? BC?

If you wrote silly stuff in the chat that's on you, and only you. I have seen similar case where people "just for fun" (so they claimed) said nonsense like "I will xxxx myself" in the chat and minutes later they were gone, and that is actually the right thing to do. I every "joke" there is also a bit of truth.
If you don't have any money still sitting on the site there is no scam, you have just been excluded, simple as that. And if there was money left sites always refund them if there is an exclusion like yours.

Well, OP, if you do have a gambling addiction or signs of irresponsible gambling, then sadly what Steve said above is true; there is no scam happened here. Sportsbet was, in fact, just doing their duty and responsibility to ensure safe gambling environment.

Sportsbet.io takes comments and emails stated by a registed customer of a personal nature extremely seriously when they move outside the normal customer query levels.

Your account has been moved to another area of the sportsbet.io business for futher consultation and I am sure they will be in contact with you today (monday) or at the latest, Tuesday. Pls pm me if you haven't heard by Tuesday PM.

Also, I appreciate your concern, but this isn't a scam accusation scenario for bitcointalk. This is just a case of yourself not getting immidiate attention on this matter.

I worked for some time as a Risk agent for a group that included a large number of online casinos (not Sportsbet.io I might add), and I just want to respond to OP who is surprised that his cousin got a response when he didn't got one himself.

Most services have a thematically divided support teams: the same agents don't answer everything: if you were in a cool-off period, I bet your case is handled by someone from a Risk team (or "Responsable Gaming" team, or whatever depending on the company), whereas a request concerning a lambda question about a game or classic site operation will be dealt with by classic customer support team (for example). You shouldn't compare different timescales when the situations are different.

you should have some patience, jeremypwr isn't always online in the forum so it's understandable that he wouldn't be able to reply instantly, also, the guy said he replied to you less than an hour after your post. Some people really expect answers within 5 minutes, but that's not how this works.

I would like to suggest you wait a little more. If you send a private message and the person is not online, you cannot expect a reply from them. Sportsbet is one of the reputed casinos available on the market. Different teams may handle different kinds of emails. For example, if you send them an email that is KYC-related, I guess a different person will handle that. I know this fact because I often see one casino support forward a customer to another support member.

Since you already sent a private message to Jeremypwr, you should wait for him to come back to you. Even if he does not respond to your private message, he will write here in this thread so everyone can know what is going on. BTW, Not sure why this is in the scam accusation board. I don't see any scam here.

I am sorry i search on google and this is where i came, I know they are 100% not a scam because i am using them for over 5 years now but it's sad that they treat old active member who lost thousands on their website like that, I always got reply within 30 minutes but now it's been 2 days

I still did not get a any cogent reason for the account disablement because if there were any offense they could had stated it for you to know, sportbet.io has proven to be one the trusted and reliable site out there although had never been that active using their site but has seen lot of good report and feedback on this forum and they have less scam accusations over here from my knowledge so far. Maybe you might have misused some of their features or Violates their rules.

Man, you didn't even read what OP wrote apparently. He self excluded for 24 hours (cool down period) and he says that these 24 hours are over and he still can't access his account. That's all.
Why you would make it an issue about his account or TOS violations is not understandable.

Normally the support on sp.io is very fast and responsive. The fact that OP sent several emails might have not been a good idea since with every new message you basically get to the back of the waiting line.

It's been less than 24 hours since their rep reached you, I'll suggest you to exercise some patience. If by 48 hours and we still haven't heard anything from them, I'll try to reach Jeremy [the one above who ask you to PM him] and see what causes the delay. But rest assured that if you do nothing wrong [with one of it is signs of gambling problem that casinos are forced to take matters into their own hand due to the responsible gambling policy] all will be good.

Is the issue you just want to gamble? If they are not replying as quickly as you want to reopen your account, you can play elsewhere until they respond. Otherwise, be patient and give people time to look at your case. You are probably not the only person they have to respond to and who knows how many support agents they have.

I suggest you to wait until a proper/solution reply from their team. Probably they are having technical difficulty resolving your issue.

I'm not sure what your cousin has to do with anything (not yet, at least) but you will get a reply.

They are active but not replying i asked my cousin to email them and they replied to him but not replying to me, i emailed them multiple times today

For this matter, perhaps he got a reply because his email is pretty basic and didn't require a thorough investigation and study prior to compose a reply. Yours, might require the composer to made inquiry to the security department to see you self-restriction, your gambling habit, and other things.

My account was disabled for 24 hours cool off period, my 24 hours are completed and i have email them multiple time but they are not replying, i am member of their website for 4-5 years and lost thousand of dollars there, even $10,000 last month, so is this a joke that they don't even bother to reply to such active members, if they are not replying to email then how i am suppose to contact them,

Just so you are aware, sending multiple emails isn't going to speed up the process in hopes of a quicker resolution.
I'm not sure what your cousin has to do with anything (not yet, at least) but you will get a reply.

It should be automated after the time restrictions. When did this happen and when did you email them, if this were just today (Saturday) then i guess support don't operate weekends or just have limited time for operation on weekends, idk.

When did you emailed them? They take around 24 hours to response email. You should be receiving an acknowledge email from them when you write to their support.
