Now they have more than enough time to balance the squad, in any case, including player fitness which is said to be one of the problems they suffered last season.
They could add a few players in the transfer market this summer, and they should put it to good use by bringing in the players they need for the coming season.
Liverpool must be able to show that they can get up, and in fact they have done that last season by slowly making their performance better and managing to sit in the top 5. It's not satisfying but it's better at what they do.
For now some of the actions that Liverpool are taking to prepare for the new season I think are pretty good.
They let go of several midfielders who are already old machines like Milner and it is also possible that Chamberlain will now be released and replaced with some rejuvenation with Mac Allister, of course this will make conditions a little better in terms of energy and fitness in the midfield.
Firmino is now gone but there is still no suitable replacement so it looks like they will try to bring in at least one more striker for the transfer this time around.
With Chamberlain, Firmino, Milner and Keita gone, they really opened up some salary space as well because those four players totaled some decent money I am sure. I do not know their salary, but it can't be nothing, so when you send all those away, that must be some decent salary to spend on newer players.

Obviously they got MacAllister as we know, that is a huge deal and definitely looking like a great strength on midfield, I bet that it is not the only one though, I bet that they are going to end up spending some more money to get some more players. They still need another midfield if you ask me, and maybe a young kid that can replace wingers and striker as well, not for good but basically as a bench fire cracker to bring some energy off the bench.

Liverpool definitely need to spend money in this transfer window. I think Liverpool will be assertive as much as Manchester City in the championship race together with new additions next season. By the way, what do you think about Ryan Kent who has grown from Liverpool youth? Can he make difference in the Turkish League? I'm very happy that Fenerbahçe have signed him.

We have signed World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister but we’ll need at least another one, preferably two CM’s to really have a chance at fighting for the title.

I’d like another CB too plus a RB if Trent is moved into that hybrid midfield role he was in at the end of last season.

Ryan Kent is a good player, very aggressive, he will do well in Turkey. I know Rangers fans loved him.
I agree with this because seeing as Chamberlain, Naby Keita and Milner have all left this season it's definitely good to have Mac Allister around with his youth and promising form but it's not enough for now.
Looking at the rumours now I don't hear Kent's name on Liverpool's radar but in recent reports they seem to be interested in signing Romeo Lavia from Southampton, Valverde from Real Madrid and Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich.
Valverde will be very difficult for them to bring in because we know that Madrid will definitely fortify this player but it is still possible for Lavia and Ryan Gravenberch.
Now that Southampton have been confirmed to go to the Championship division next season and this could be one of the advantages for Liverpool when wanting Lavia. He is still quite a young player because he is only 19 years old but his performance is clearly still very good and his progress is also quite good. In addition, his vision when attacking and defending is also still quite good for players his age because he can attack and return to defence so this could be a good thing if Lavia becomes a target for Liverpool especially with Liverpool's scheme which is always with a direct pass and speed of attack of course Lavia can be a good target to fill the void.

Valverde its clearly not an option, its impossible to see Real Madrid selling him, the unique way its if Real Madrid wants Salah and they make a some type of exchange.
Lavia can be a very good bet, but the main problem its Liverpool cant bet anymore, they have a "bad" season right now they cant have another one in a row.

Also i think you are forgettin Arthur, that its the foundation piece i think for this new Liverpool. Arthur McAllister Thiago.

Thanks for another sweet free bet @Sportsbet.io! Really appreciated.  Smiley

This is a good value bet imo, the England u21 squad are really and other than Germany being on the edge here, there is nothing else that could have made England be offered at such value against this awful German side, I might take the England win too, England double with a couple of other options as a betbuilder, and that would include Germany under 1.5 goals, maybe over 19.5 bookings too, and some corners to get a good 4-5 Odds.

I'm actually more surprised by the Georgia U21 side, coming into the tournament as an underdog in a group of supposed predators, but are currently at the top of the table and are still unbeaten with a high chance of qualifying for the next round.

Didn't actually know much about Kent, but I was hearing a lot about Conor Bradley, who swept all the awards while on loan last season at Bolton Wanderers, serenading him on their last game as they want him to stay. Apparently he was the most-played teenager in world football last season (10% more than Bellingham!). He appears to be training with the seniors so I guess Bolton won't be having good news they wanted in the new season.

Also remember Sepp vd Berg? Not sure how he did in Germany, Schalke got relegated but he was injured most of the time... but I didn't really miss him.

They cant spend money as Manchester City that had almost unlimited budget for years, and I dont think Liveprool can come near them for next season.
It is better wait to see what happens when transfer market opens but I would like to see Man City removed from throne, maybe by Arsenal and Sporsbet Wink

What are you all playing on in next few days on Sportsbet?
I was doing mix of U21 matches and Brasileiro Serie A, but I think I am going back again to eSoccer and LiveArena, this is always my backup options.

Liverpool have a good squad and they can play well if their players don't have series of injuries like in the past season. It limits their contributions for the club and affects a club standing too.

I agree that it is better if Liverpool can buy some good players in this summer but it does not make sense if their medical team can not improve their player fitness, better than in the past season. It has many reasons, from international duties, player exhaustion and something wrong with medical team and the medical team must think of their current therapies for their players. If they can find something to improve, they should execute it and contribute for better fitness of their players.

I stand with Ukraine.
Women's football is getting some love from Sportsbet, I noticed the usual $100,000 prize has been doubled for Women's World Cup. I put it some really crazy scores for this. https://sportsbet.io/sports/bet-free-6-6

~

It's amazing that we can bet on this event for free, and the prizes are good too!

I just made my predictions:

but since there's plenty of time left, more than 25 days, I will probably be editing them based on the discussion in this thread. What if during this time we could come up with some better predictions here and helped the whole crew to end up here?

I personally have hopes for that Smiley

When you look at what happened to Liverpool last season, actually their players are players who have flashy names, it's just that they really have quite a hard time developing the game, I don't know why, but maybe it's a factor where the players accidentally underperformed in nearly every position. Also, several players who did experience injuries were very influential in making Liverpool's game not as expected. But I have no doubt that Jurgon Klopp has evaluated every position he has not played to his full potential this season, and that he will certainly make moves in the transfer market.
But I hope Jurgen Klopp doesn't do something like before, because from what I've seen when he likes a player he doesn't think long about signing him, after that the player is only on the bench for a long time.

Is it U21 World Cup or U21 EURO?  Grin
I dont know most of the players in U21 national teams and I wont follow all the matches, but it can be fun watching younger guys compete.
Some of today results are really surprising to me, like Georgia wining against Portugal and Croatia losing from Ukraine.

Well spotted, doh!

France look really good, I really want Liverpool to sign Thuram and Kone, just what our mediocre midfield needs.

Nice win for England also.

But I have a little question, why do so many of them when playing in age groups, they can be balanced or even better, but when they are seniors it seems that it changes from what happened in the age group. I'm sure one of them is federation or good coaching at a young age, but when they enter senior age they are just let go, or they don't want to get out of their comfort zone. Or the leagues in every country make them unable to develop their skills? or is there something else?

It’s like anything in life, you have to work as hard as you can to get the maximum out of your skills. Sometimes these young kids aged 19/20/21 get massive contracts. They can be earning over $50,000 a week when they’re basically only just out of diapers. Maybe they get a 4-5 year contract and stop training hard, they think ‘I made it’ and stop pushing themselves. Alcohol and women can distract them maybe, late nights in bars, bad influences around them.

Players like Ronaldo and Messi gave 100% every single day of their lives in training, they live clean. Some players make it big, most don’t. Obviously injuries can destroy young players, they could peak too early too. There are many reasons why but attitude and dedication is a must to succeed.
Ah yes yes, I understand that, or in other words they are quickly satisfied with what they get at a young age, so there is no motivation for them to be even better in the future, when they enter the mature age as professional athletes. Their mentality can only be at that level so that when they enter a mature age their abilities cannot improve and are fixated on just that position.

And it is true that lifestyle will greatly affect them. Their tendency towards a messy lifestyle will indeed destroy their career. Indeed, when you want to achieve something big, it requires sacrifice and one of them is when other people enjoy something that is fun, they have to avoid it in order to improve their abilities.

@LFC_Bitcoin I won’t be surprised if more player’s chose the easy way by joining the SPL and then stop improving themselves because they’ll be able to retire early and without much efforts. Furthermore I yet value player’s who push themselves to improve and one player that comes to mind is Rashford who’s worked hard and didn’t let PSG money distract him and yet continues to develop himself.
A player should really continue to develop their playing abilities, especially if they are still at a young age where all potential can still be developed. Unless they are getting old, it becomes natural for them to choose money and play where the competition is not tough enough.
With them continuing to develop themselves and being able to be successful in doing so, money will follow them by itself like what happened to Messi and Ronaldo for example. They deserve to be one of the mentors or motivators for players so they can continue to work hard to get the best in their playing form.

Interesting promo on Women's World Cup, I have to admit I don't follow that, or U21 football, but mainly because either there's no coverage for those games here, or there is not really a good level of skill on play. I don't want to get into the later excuse too much because it might sound like I'm hating lol but women's football is only good at a few teams. Anyway Tongue

Long time no share bets, so putting Japanese games and Brasil on my ticket and hoping for a big win!
