I won big (over $2.5k, or 227 mbtc) after betting on csgo matches, they locked my account, disabled withdrawing and betting, and I had to communicate via email. They took over 2 days to respond about why my account was locked, asking for id which i provided and they verified, only to tell me that my account was under investigation. There is absolutely no reason to do this. If I don't get my money, can I start legal proceedings? They literally made an excuse of "handing this case to the appropriate officials/authorities" to make me lose out of my winnings and deposit. Please help me with this, they don't reply on email and don't have a phone, and their live chat says to email them which they arent replying.

Hello..

Another 'complaint' about a certain CS GO match... please re-read the reply we gave you... the answer, funnily enough, is in the response.

We will be waiting for official confirmation from the appropriate governing body.. It can not be typed out any other way than that.

regards,

Steve,

They are doing the same thing all the other casinos with Curacao licence is doing. The licence is not strict at all, and gives the casinos a lot of room to do what they want without consequences. Curacao licenced casinos are wild west compared to Malta casinos.

Remember to always read reviews and check the quality of the casino licence before gambling on a casino/bookmaker.

Also, it has just been two days. It is normal that casinos investigate unusual patterns. If you made normal bets and play like a regular gambler, you will most likely get your money back in the end.

I think we need to start flagging those shady countries like Curacao and others and anything that incorporates in a shady jurisdiction will be flag as a possible scam, i have a list of shady countries that allow scams to operate, this are: BVI, Seychelles, Curacao, Bermuda, Cayman Island, Comoros, Mauritius, Samoa, Vanuatu, Belize, and others.

Many shady casinos operate from Curacao, they only need 25k to buy a licence to scam.

Exchanges is cheaper, for under 1000$ they can buy a licence to scam, for example

Livecoin scam exchange incorporated in Belize, in one day you can get incorporated there for under 399$
Binance scam exchange incorporated in Malta, but operating from multiple jurisdictions, BUT with the parent company incorporated in the BVI, a country with basically no laws and a licence to scam cost under 799$
Poloniex, moved to the Seychelles, no laws, African country where millionaires buy mansions by the sea, it cost 499$ for a licence to scam.

If we see legit sites, like Coinbase, incorporated in the USA, regulated.
Coins.ph Philippines, regulated
Localbitcoin Regulated Finland
Bithumb Korea and regulated

Isn't it obvious when you win big in shady casinos as sportsbet.io you'd be locked out of your accounts?

This is 100% true. All of that shady bookies and sometimes even a reputable ones are doing the same thing.

You win big = locking out of your account and refusing to pay winnings.

Reasons = Multi accounts, fraudulent activities, e.t.c.. (All kinds of B.S.)
Now I am feeling OP is doing shady things as he sing up here and post just 1 post for Scam Accusation then disappear its not good and wise thing if he is solid and believe its scam then surely he need to stay here and post things with proof.

Sportsbet is Main Sponsor for Watford (coincidental just played) and Flamengo (playing later in Copa Libertadores Final)
Sportsbet wouldn't risk their reputation over a measly 227 mBTC.

Isn't it obvious when you win big in shady casinos as sportsbet.io you'd be locked out of your accounts? Sorry OP, you should have taken the previous accusations against them seriously. Please detail your scam accusation with relevant proofs and links to the bet etc. As someone mentioned above, now your account will be reviewed for "security purposes" and eventually your money will be stolen.  Please post your queries in their thread as well https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1458034.7000

Sportsbet is NOT a "shady casino"  and the Sportsbet Campaign currently has DT members, Staff, and Global Moderators.
These people wouldn't be participating if Sportsbet.io was a "shady casino."

3 that casino is incorporated in a country with no laws, like Curacao, Costa Rica, or Belize
Curaçao has laws! Roll Eyes

Laws  Roll Eyes

I heard that there are laws like if you are in a car you need to wear a safety belt, but nobody wear it,
Also i heard that some of those casinos are just washing machine for the narcos of Colombia Venezuela and Mexico

Dont listen to those guys just posting about them being a scam operation, which they definitely are NOT!

Interesting

Yes, it is... We are talking about 2 days or so? Not even 2 days with today being a Saturday? Obviously I dont know why there was/is an "investigation" but give them some time before calling out scams...

Hey,

sad to hear you are facing some problems but rest assured, you will get your money if everything is fine - there must be a reason for that. Dont listen to those guys just posting about them being a scam operation, which they definitely are NOT!

How long have you been in touch with their support via e-mail? Whats the current status? Maybe just give them a little more time - I know how it is and it suxx when you have to wait for your earned money! Something must have caused them to request additional information but either way - as mentioned before - sportsbet is not just taking anyones money, they really arent...

I don't think you will ever get your money.

1 you are coming to the wrong place, here there are people paid to promote that site and soon will trash your post
2 your account is new, so you will be trashed
3 that casino is incorporated in a country with no laws, like Curacao, Costa Rica, or Belize
4 you need to bring more screenshots, proof, deposit address, etc to some of the honest people in this forum to believe you a little bit
