Don't let my inability to pay you back hinder your trust in others.  I will repay you with a invaluable prize of immortality and peace, ASAP, after the concert which you'll be first row or backstage at.

Again, sorry squall.

The terms of the loan weren't "I send you BTC, you send me back horseshit." Have a little shame and keep your mouth shut until you can pay him back.

Can we rename his thread then?

"The Skank Bank" or maybe "The Wank(er) Bank"

For some reason The Dank Bank Redemption came to mind.

Shouldn't there be a corresponding 'Idiot' tag for people dumb enough to give their money away to people like Dank?

No, however considering squalls history he should get a "fraud detector" tag.

Whenever he lends money to someone, the guy turns out to be a fraud. It's a sure fire way of finding scammers. Just see if squall lends money to them.  Grin

I'm jesting, but really the track record is baffling.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, :-) The reality is, I have had lots of successfull deals, Because I have lost a few larger amounts, It's easyer to remember and stands out, I am doing quite well,  However, My confidence has been hit quite hard, Apart from a small lending here and there, I won't be helping anyone on here, As far as Dank goes, I doubt I will see anything more, I have a list of people who owe me, When BTC reaches a higher value, I shall be building up some air miles.

So which creditor gets dank's soul?

I think I asked first, but I could never get him to put down the "guitar" long enough to negotiate a price.

Oh well. My plan should still be profitable with Unofficial Dank Soul Powder.

And I'm keeping Brandi.

Dank's soul has been claimed. Who wants the service of South-east Asia headhunters? I heard the going rate for souls is quite high at Thailand, where if someone swears to relinquish his hold of his soul, and provides ample materials for the soul-transfer ritual. (the involved person's blood, date and moment of birth etc)

Or there's always our resident witch - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/curseblessing-110513

Sorry, its mine, My friend is a white witch from the Dianic Wicca arm, He will perform a chant to finalise this transaction, I have printed off the promise and debt, both will be burned between 13th and 16th, Which I am told is a new moon phase here, which is needed.

What a pity you don't have a Haitian bokor friend who could turn him into a zombie.

On the other hand, if Dank does pull off the Million Man Concert, I will pay off his debt. Here's an excellent band he may consider recruiting for the event: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJaX4ZpfULM

This is the first time I've ever done this on a scammer issue, but unfortunately for Dank there should be no further discussion on this issue, for it's fairly plain to see that he is reneging on said loan. This should be a no brainer for the admin(s). If it is not done prompto, I will have no choice but to learn Photoshop and draw a thin French mustache on theymos.

@theymos: This is your last warning, theymos, for help me I will do it. To prove I have talent and that I'm serious and not just monkeying around, consider the following:

I really need to stop fucking around and join, after dank's gone I got nothing more to do here, ohnoes.

Hahahaha.  You don't honestly think that a scammer tag would stop him from using this forum as a platform for dribbling his "child of the Universe" bullshit, do you?

No, but for me the fun stuff was when he was doing financing for his hookah lounge. The concert bit was a tad stale, and it's only downhill from now on. I'll keep an eye out for the ASIC meltdown, but apart from random bursts of wtf like torac this place is getting dull.

If that's the guy, he lives in my neck of the woods. I'll keep an eye out for any reports on him.

My impression is that he was living in Raleigh until the end of last summer and then moved when his "soul mate" went to college (there's a post where he talks about moving 100 miles to be with her).

Bummer. I'd love to see his sorry ass trying to scam people on the street or something.

I'm actually really disappointed in Dank. When he talked about his "soul guarantee" he always seemed so earnest about not ripping people off. Granted, he was eccentric, but I thought he would come through in the end.

It was just the angle he used that's all. He's just a plain old scammer like the rest of them at the end of the day.

Dank had no intention of paying back. Blown it all on drugs.

Can we verify this warrant for arrest story? Is that possible?

We think this may be dank (he posted his name and where he was from).  If he followed his "soul mate" out of state, it's entirely possible that he missed a court appearance related to those charges and that a bench warrant has been issued.  Of course a fail to appear is usually pretty easy to sort out so it's just another excuse on dank's part for doing nothing.

http://www.mugshotsonline.com/north-carolina/raleigh/sean-michael-martin/58445251

We'd need one of the lenders to whom he's provided ID to verify that's the right guy.

He said he was sorry if this situation isn't suitable for you. What more do you want from him?

Dick pics?

Report that PM to me.

I think fgervais should probably forward the PM he got the other day where dank implied he was going to use his giftcards to pay squall, too.  It's pretty obvious this whole "make January 9 no more money day" thing is all about coming up with a reason not to pay anyone.

PM reported to theymos.

A hundred dollar visa gift card and a hundred dollar lowes gift card will buy me lots of bitcoins.

This is even more infuriating because dank was given gift cards for Christmas and talked about buying BTC with them.  He says he gave away his possessions when he could have sold them to pay squall something.

Just tag him mods, this one really shouldn't need much discussion.

And dank, go post on Bluelight or opiophile.  Your drug-fuelled bullshit has nothing whatsoever to do with Bitcoin.

Long time comeing I suppose, Reference to my deposit

He paid back 23 of the 75 so owes 52

I asked for my BTC back as almost a month and I got this just now

Hey, I have no money, I have no means to earn money, I couldn't get a job if I tried with an arrest warrant.  When the economy collapses, I'll be sure to send you a good bit of whatever anyone may send me.

I do have means to organize this concert and bring world peace, sorry if this situation isn't suitable for you.

Peace

So I will not get my BTC back.

How can he have the means to organize his million man concert (never mind the fact that the same logic preventing him from being in the public eye for a job should affect his life the same way as being in front of a fucking million person crowd) and not have the means to pay you?

What's the plan here dank, live like a hobo until the status of limitation kicks in? Man up and face your responsibilities, both to Squall and to society.
