Thanks for the replies.  So i tried setting up Awesome miner with your suggested algorithms, and it still prefers miningpoolhub with Myriad coin with the profit switching.

I setup a managed miner with zergpool but I couldn't select the Verus coin, so i set it to use the Yespower unspecified and it is showing better profits but its mining PYRK even when i enter the command line

-a verushash -o stratum+tcp://verushash.na.mine.zergpool.com:3300 -u 3Gpg76P1s2ZbcE92MRNbHE1h1JVUU1Gz7G -p c=BTC,mc=VRSC,m=solo,ID=Verushasher

never mind I have Verus coin being mined now, looking pretty good.  Is there anyway to boost the CPU usage? or is this a mining app or Algorithm limitation?

Verus coin is the most profitable on CPUs right now, another coin that's profitable is epic cash but it runs on randomx algorithm, the only advantage here is epic cash has low difficulty now and not too many are mining the coin

Hi,

I've started playing around with CPU mining and would like some input on what I've done so far.

I currently have a server with 64 cores (4x16 AMD Opteron 6378, 64 threads) with 256GB of DDR3 dual channel memory.
I'm using Awesome Miner and I've set it up for profit switching with mining-dutch (turned off due to weird coin its mining), zergpool, miningpoolhub, and nicehash and its using the Yescrypt algorithm primarily and the SPUminer-sse2.

So far its been consistently mining Myriad coin through miningpoolhub, at 10.52kH/s with a $0.49/day or $14.90/month estimated profit.

I've tried benchmarking other algorithms and tried other miners but they don't seem to either work or have terrible performance.  I've looks around for ways to maximize the CPU usage since at normal loads its barely pushing 55% CPU across all 64 cores, so Im thinking this is a miner app limitation?

I've been looking at other pools to possibly plug into awesome miner through miningpoolstats.stream, but again I've only had luck with the Yescrypt algorithm so its been limiting me in what I can mine.

Are there any other options for my setup?

Try veruscoin. It perform good with many threads on cpu. Try it with srbminer or nanominer.
Srbminer support many cpu algos and all cpus. I use it with old I7 920 cpu for example.

Other algos you can try: yespower, curvehash, cryptonight_upx, rx2, lyraz330, verus ....

Use zergpool for example.
