Nice.  I'll have to give that some thought as I look to expand.  Right now, I have one of my rigs using a Biostar A870 with 4 x 6950's and it's totally solid.  For some reason with another one I'm having issues.  At first I thought it was a mobo issue, but now I'm thinking that it's a software issue.  I changed out the mobo and had the same effect.

I would highly recommend the asrock board linked below. It's been rock solid (no pun indented).

Thank you for the suggestion.  Are you using yours with 4 or 5 GPUs?  What extender cables are you using (1x/16x, with/without molex power, etc.)?

5 5830s with 3 16x and 2 1-16x extenders without molex. I now have 5 boxes running this configuration and everything is working out great.

I have a Biostar A870 that is rock solid with 2 GPUs, but flaky with 3, and with 4 is very unstable.  There is plenty of PSU power (1000W with max power draw at socket <800W with 4 GPU on full load).

Is there a board that is working well for others with 4 GPUs without the need for the extender with the molex connector (way too expensive)?

Thanks
