Yes, looking through the new auctions is nice especially since Stacks has put up the first Cryptoart piece!! Cheesy
(It is not mine)

https://auctions.stacksbowers.com/lots/view/3-1BAY7K/2016-cryptoart-kitsune-fox-00005-bitcoin-artwork-loaded-by-christina-hess-serial-no-62

I believe this is the 2nd non-slabbed/graded item they have offered.
First one was a Satori roll in a past auction they held

Stacks may want to edit description & correct that it's loaded with .0005, not .005

Cool stuff.  Bet the silver MyBits & Finney Squirrelbit go for BIG monies!

Good catch, thank you!
I'll message James to have that fixed

Just checked the address it's actually correct!

James said he took my advice and made the bidding increments smaller on the high dollar coins (like 1.0 loaded coins) instead of single physical bitcoins going in $2500 bidding increments. I think it’s gonna be $500 increments. I told him I felt like they lost a lot of sales for sellers because of this current bidding increments, and the auction house itself missed out on profit revenue.

The two which stand out AKA within my budget for me in tomorrows auction is the Cryptolater and Nattymind.

Unfortunately the 20% buyers fee is an added extra I am kind of reluctant to pay.

Its actually 20%  ($20 minimum per item) plus sales tax plus shipping. For instance, I bought 4 items @ the Nov 2023 auction.

My bill came out like this:  $880 in successful bids. $196 in premiums. $80.70 in sales tax. $26 for shipping. for a grand total of $1182.70 for my $880 in bids.

All I'm saying is it adds up quickly. Would much prefer to buy here on the forum and with btc.

These are the three I was keeping an eye on with the Denarium less favourable for me.
They all went obviously higher than I wanted but probably on par with what was expected
of them.

But again the extra charges pushes the end sale price way too much over.

as PreciousMetapsICT posted - we are looking at an extra 25%, ok they are graded and slabbed
but its just too much, happier to use the forum collectibles board here.

I've got a special NattyMind coin that was given to me for being the person who engraved the keys on the entire collection.  I've considered selling it over the years.  I may have to watch this auction and see what they're fetching these days.  I'm open to offers on it.

My take after viewing the items in this auction.  1) People are really dumping Lealana coins.  2) My NastyFans/NastyPool silver rounds sell for pretty crazy prices in these auctions.  You can get my 1oz version or 1oz Minted Seats for cheaper than the 1g rounds...  If anyone sees that auction result and wants to buy them for that price, let me know and I'll dip into my personal collection for you.

Yah unfortunately this auction offering looks a lot less interesting with less rare items than I’ve seen in recent auctions - will still watch for fun but probably sit this one out.

Am I the only one that is underwhelmed by this offering? Maybe its cuz all the CAS coins are out of my budget, but besides them its the same ol same ol lealana listings with a sprinkling of other items. Wish there was a more diverse offering myself. Either way - good luck to the bidders and sellers.

If Stacks would drop the requirement of everything being slabbed and graded, you would probably see some cooler stuff. But I would appreciate it more if we would just see older makers.

Cool, always fun to follow their auctions. I agree, unslabbed/ungraded should spice up their offerings, since its indeed a bit bland at times.

There are a few older ones in there that are nice to see.. some Serp coins and also some Silver Wallets and a CryptoVest coins Cheesy

And they have had a Satori roll up for auction lest session if I remember correctly that was not slabbed/graded

I was able to authenticate (along with elianite (Elias)  the roll for them which allowed them to auction it successfully

Currently in talks to see if we can submit a few other ungradable/unslabable items Wink

Stacks and Bowers will offer 4 lealana coins up for auction spring of 2022. The silver 0.1, 0.25, 0.5 and the gilded 1 bitcoin. All unpeeled and funded graded by PCGS. They all have the serial number #24. So must be from an early collector here or from Smoothie himself. Exciting to see the progression of our collections. Maybe someone can post link to there site.
