Undoubtedly, as the price of Cas gold coins rises, many individuals will find themselves priced out of the market. This trend is likely to influence other brands of physical Bitcoin, prompting them to follow suit. In fact, to the right buyers, Cas gold coins could already be worth a million dollars. I believe these coins are still significantly undervalued. We are truly in the early stages of the physical Bitcoin revolution. Think about it are collectible category is only a teenager.

I predict that in the next decade, physical Bitcoins will experience significant maturation. Gold physical Bitcoins minted in 2020 or earlier, are likely to appreciate tremendously in value, potentially reaching tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars, even in their unloaded state.

Yes, all of the poker chips did very well, maybe they're tapping into a new collectors market amongst the poker aficionados, perhaps also the MAGA crowd, Etc.

I'm surprised by how high the premium is for polymerbit notes on stack bowers

I'll confirm those were secondary market sales to an unknown buyer.

The hype in this auction was sensational across the board.

EDIT: I'm quite bullish on collectibles, will be speaking with some dealers at MIF.

Grading companies and prestigious auction houses are supporting this communities work by advertising to new buyers.

$1560 for a Satori chip?
Post fork?!

I should’ve bought more.

I was just looking at this lmao. If anyone wants to buy mine for that price I'd sell off 5 or 6 of em 😂

Some interesting results from these auctions. Some sales great for sellers and some great for buyers.

The 1K BTCC chips selling for ~$2k at HA and ~$1k at S&B

1 BTC coins with basically no premium, especially the BTCC Artist proof coin and the BTCC Silver 1 BTC coins.

Unfunded Casascius 1,000 BTC selling for $168k  Shocked

Kialara "To the moon" for $9k at HA while the Kialara "Exogenesis" sold for ~$1.4k at S&B

Several Polymerbit notes going for $400+

Congrats to all the sellers and buyers.

Good point, I would say really good for buyers really bad for sellers in my humble opinion. But we shall see

Inauguration day and also happened to be an ATH day, makes for quite exciting auctions

Maybe collectors appreciating that the Cas silvers are probably the most beautiful physicals created, and with the 0.1 BTC being the most accessible price wise, even at 4 x spot

Nice result for the unfunded 1,000 BTC Cas at $168,000 as the previous one in August 2024 went for $55,200 which I knew at the time to be a steal

Depends How You Look at it Wink

I’d say it’s Both Good & Bad. Which I guess would make it an imperfectly perfect time?
