It seems I'm unable to move the double-posted thread to Archival.
It's pretty easy bud,

1.You need to go to the thread here
2.You would see a move topic option at the bottom left of the page. Click on it.
3.It directs you to a selection tab for selecting to which board you want to move the topic to. In your case it's move to - Others> Archival. Just select it from the drop down menu.
4. You can also edit the topic name and add details about where the topic is moved.

Yeah, I know. It won't let me. Maybe because I'm a Newbie, or something...

You can be banned just because you have posted the same message in reputation too.
It's more likely one of the topics gets deleted.

My suggestion: lock this one, and move it to Archival.
Then move this current thread to Reputation.

The Lock and Move buttons are on the lower left.

It seems I'm unable to move the double-posted thread to Archival. Hopefully a mod can help me out with that. Thanks for your suggestion and help! I've moved this thread to Reputation.

You can be banned just because you have posted the same message in reputation too. Keep only 1 thread alive. You said it should be posted in reputation, in that case, you can simply move the thread.

Ah, thanks a lot man. That's really cool.

Well, if anything, I hope this method is an easier way to visualize merit. Clean, with no bells and whistles, albeit less information.

You could also go to the Merit Dashboard, go to the last tabs ("Received Merit Chart" or "Sent Merit Chart") and get them instantly with all TX history …

Oh, fuck me. I had no idea this existed. I wasted all my time on that  Cry

Well, thanks for this! It's a very valuable resource I had no idea existed.

Edit: Do not consider yours a waste of time. There are a couple of alternatives that resolve similar functionality. That enriches the ecosystem to a certain degree, and alternative solutions serve as backup, should one of them fail or stop being updated.

It seems developing a merit data/analytics/stats/graph/tracker (whatever you name it) became a trend in meta to gain merit for oneself.

This is the skill I don't have it seems...  Sad  Cry

edit: not discouraging anyone...  Smiley

I mean, it's just something I wish existed, so I made it myself. I saw LoyceV's post (from where I got the idea, thanks LoyceV) and thought that there should be some sort of automated website to create the graph for you in real-time instead of waiting for a data dump and someone to manually process the information.

Nice work by the way !

And yeb as hacker1001101001 said would be nice to have some infos on the dots !

- Username
- How much merit you got
- Maybe the link to the post you got it

Also it would be interesting if you can do that with the given Merits too !
So you can watch the 2 Graph. for received and sended Merits !

It looks great!

I tested it and it's shows fine data of user and accurately too.

I would suggest to add usernames to the merit dots, like from which user the merit is received it would make it better for the user's to track around.

Ah, that's a very interesting idea. Might add it when I reach home if it's not too time-consuming. Thanks for the feedback and suggestion!

I've always been curious about a single user's merit trends over time. I had some spare time so I whipped up a bit of code that scrapes users' merit page and formats the data into a graph, so you can see people's historical merit data in an easy-to-understand form.

  • Username is case sensitive.
  • I may put this up on a dedicated server if there's enough interest.

Remember to play with the buttons to zoom out!

Hope this helps someone! Thanks for reading  Grin
