Hey.

I've started staking at Stakeunited. Stakeunited has currently more >20 PoS cryptos for staking, ranging from more familiar to less familiar projects. Staking returns depend on the coin, however for the past few days, I've been receiving quite nice returns. And that's just for keeping my coins there. I've started carefully with a smaller amount to check the pool and it seems trustworthy, so I intend adding more to my portfolio continuously. They have made announcements for new coins (e.g. RDD) and will soon start with masternodes too for other coins, so that's quite nice and they seem to be constantly developing. Their support is quite responsive and they have a Discord channel where you can post questions and find out the basics. You can check your account balance at any time, as well as the pool stakes and your shares in the stakes. So basically, you can see what was going on at any given time. What I like is that they are optimizing the wallets to achieve maximum gains. The fee for using the pool is 3% from the staked amount (not the balance) which I don't mind paying since I receive constant stakes for my portfolio (far better compared to the situation if I was staking on my own).

I would note the following, some coins require several days to start staking (you'll see the indicator change when they start staking), so I would recommend to be patient about that (e.g. PivX). Most coins do start staking as soon as the regular daily wallet maintenance takes place, so in some cases you won't have to wait and will start receiving stakes after wallet maintenance passes.

At the moment, I'm tracking daily returns for my stake portfolio and should be posting the results soon. As soon as you create an account there, you can see the staking returns statistics and then you can decide which additional coins you would like to add to the portfolio.

Hope this answers at least a part of your question. If you have any other, let me know and I'd be happy to help.

Thanks for the responses  Grin CLAM and NXT I used to have for standalone staking, but did not get much of it so this would be an alternative.

I would recommend NXT-based cryptos forging (staking) pools, because they are safe. You lease your balance to pool through client and if get scammed lose only profits, not stake.

Here is one what I am using at the moment, look around and you get easily idea of details what you asked: http://fim.warmach.info/pool/

There are many others like that pool also for NXT and NXT-based cryptocurrencies.

I like POS coins and recently I made a post about which coins do you recommend, and came across some people mentioning staking pools.

That got me interested and searched for some on google, but do not know which ones are trustworthy (I know nothing is completely trustworthy in crypto world, but still there are something that are worth more trust than others)

Which staking pools would you recommend and why? Please, if you can give some details (minimum payouts, payout frequency, coins staked etc) will be more helpful

Thanks!

I'm only staking CLAMS, and this is the pool I use:
