interesting, betting on Starcraft games can be very profitable if you know your stuff
do you have any other places to bet on Starcraft?
any bitcoin based bookies that accept bets and have reasonable odds?
will follow your predictions, hope you prove your value as a pundit

Nitrogen has it and have the best odds anywhere in crypto:  https://nitrogensports.eu/sport/esports/starcraft-broodwar-afreeca-starleague

Anyway, you guys know Elky?  One of the best, if not the best European to play SC/BW.

OP, thank you for posting this. I used to play StarCraft for about 5 hours every day. {PvP tournaments}

I did not know that you can bet on the outcome of these tournaments and would give it a try. I am a bit out of the scene at

the moment, but I played all 3 games and I still know some of the major players. I will give this a try.  Grin ...Man, just when

Nice, what race were you?  I was randoming for a lot of this year but have finally decided to commit to Zerg, and I am glad that I have because I feel like my skill level is rising more rapidly playing only 3 matchups instead of 9.  I played for like 2-3 hours today.

Hey Meistro, how is going for you in the StarCraft challenge? Do you know any btc casinos who let you bet on Starcraft games?

I know that Pinnacle accepts bitcoin deposits (recent development) and takes action on both Brood War and StarCraft 2.

There is a lot more potential in betting on e sports than sports because the market is much less efficient. The margin of error doesnt have to be very high to allow for some profitable bets. If you are a person who loves to watch professional StarCraft matches, like myself, then I think it is easy to find spots where particular players are under or over valued.

I know that Pinnacle takes action on StarCraft, accepts bitcoin deposits, and generally offers pretty competitive lines.  BetOnline as someone else suggested is also solid.
I agree, there is really a lot more money to be made here than regular sports as it is quite hard to grade the matchups in this area than the conventional ones. However, it is also hard to analyse the games as there is no set rules in analysis here as well. This is really uncharted territories both for the bookmakers and as well as the gamblers.

On his website he uses BetOnline for betting starcraft games. If you want to bet with bitcoin you could go with NitrogenSports or Fairlay both of them charges 0.0001 btc for miner fees.

I used to follow SC/BW (way) back in the day and even tried to bring it here and get everyone interested.  But sadly none got into it and felt like it was a waste of time.
I also share some of my esports picks here long time ago no one really follows them. There's a few people share their picks on the subreddit sportsbook but most of them bets on league csgo and dota 2 I rarely see people betting on

But if you really want to attract people, you should at least try to make a good thread.  Maybe something like what I made but make it better:  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/e-sports-asl-s2-starcraftbroodwar-tourney-info-and-prediction-thread-1732205

Group F predictions are up.

I am going with 10 on Jaedog and only 3 on Pusan because he is a heavy underdog.

Thanks, that is a great idea.

The next ASL match is in two days, and I will get my predictions up as soon as my analysis is finished. I will also be handicapping the GSL finals as well.

game 1 : action pulled off a quick doom drop accompanied by muta support and won quite easily.

+8.30 (off hypothetical $10 bet)

game 2 : a great reaver drop early on really set back soulkey's economy. Mini had a 50 supply lead throughout the mid game, and while soulkey took a bunch of bases, mini did a great job shutting them all down.

+$17.50

total tally, two wins, +$25.80
Great to see two consecutive winning bets.

Just a suggestion, why don't you update your main OP with the bets you've won and lost in total? It will be helpful in the long run and can get you really good buyers of your predictions in the long run.

I am going to share my tips for betting on StarCraft in this thread, along with a hypothetical 10 unit bet on each tip, so we can follow my progress.
