Get a USB stick... create a new text file on it... copy/paste the private keys into the text file... take the usb stick to the other computer... copy/paste the keys from it.
If you didn't use Armory that much, you'll only need a few of the private keys to get all your coins.
I would recommend you actually create a new "Standard" wallet in Electrum with a 12 word seed... and then transfer any recovered bitcoins from the wallet with the imported Armory private keys to the new wallet... then start using the new wallet.

Thanks a lot, it worked. I only imported the personal key, connected to the address the bitcoins haven been sent to. I have now an Electrum wallet. But only with one personal key. Because Armory runs on another computer (it runs only on a 64bit system) than Electrum. I have no idea how to import the total adresses and key's list. So I have to do some work but it is the first time I really saw a (little) amount of bitcoins. So I can calm down my nerves. I am indeed very grateful for your persistent en competent help. best regards, Paul

You can't import a text file either... you need to copy paste the private keys... if you have managed to do the "export keys list" as I described above... then you should be able to find the address and matching private key that the person sent coins to.

But at the end, pressing the button Save to file nothing happens. I can copy to clipboard and paste into Word (184 pages) but I dont think you can import a Word file into Electrum. Is there somethhing wrong, am I doing something wrong or should I be more patient and will the file be somewhere? Where will the file eventually be?

Paper Backup with Root Key is Armory Specific. To the best of my knowledge, no other wallet is able to use this root key.Quote

Yes, you cannot get Armory wallet online without a full Bitcoin Node (that is also fully synced).Quote

You cannot directly import the Armory wallet. You would need to export the private keys from the Armory wallet, and import the private keys into ElectrumWallet Properties -> Backup This Wallet -> See other backup options -> select "Export Key Lists" -> [click Export Keys List button] -> select "Address String", "Private Key (Plain Base58)", "Included unused (address pool)" and "Omit spaces in key data"
You will get a list of your addresses and matching private keys in WIF format. You can then import the WIF keys into Electrum (or any other wallet)

If you just want a lightweight wallet that doesn't require you to have Bitcoin Core installed and running... but is also relatively secure if used properly, I'd suggest Electrum (https://electrum.org/#download). It is easy to use, actively maintained and can also be used in an Offline/Online two computer setup if you want...

Armory absolutely MUST have a fully synced Bitcoin Core to be able to function properly. If you have sent coins to an address in your Armory wallet, the only way you can get them back out is to either install Bitcoin Core and let it sync up fully... OR you will have to manually export the private keys from Armory and then import them into a different wallet.

I am a first user of Armory. I did install it succesfully, I have an offline wallet. When I start Armory I see Preparing databases and the message Armory is scanning. But furthermore nothing happens, for hours. Is this OK? Must I be patient? Or isn't happening anything? The computer is connected to the internet, by the way.
I hope anyone can help me, I am getting rather nervous.
