We looked into doing something similar for KBVE but it would just be referral / revenue sharing...

However, if there really is an increased interest, we can definitely look into expanding our systems and doing a moch test / run.

I will stalk this thread and talk to DevTheDev and might be able to set something up :O

StartUps need a product / service, one of which (there are many options / avenues) that can be easily be resold through affiliate means, but there are problems, like fraud and abuse... however, a decent developer (or team) can solve these issues.

Referral Concept ->
A good and popular example is a referral structure, however these can easily be abused through an existing database of emails and a VPN (HMA offers somewhere around 1000+ IP addresses)... however we could add in a clause, like the referred member must make X amount of posts, such that BUT that also runs into its own issues.

I suspect most startups are 15 year old key board warriors who would have no idea how to implement this sort of thing.

Your OP is correct though it would be good to see that sort of thing more often

Yes after looking back at other tries it was difficult to determine profits unless good books were kept

Even if they do can you trust them? Is there a signed paper assurance?

Why dont start ups with limited ad budget offer monthly shares in company for signature campaign,I would be interested or do they already?Huh?

If I remember correctly one gambling/ASIC sort of site tried that already (cant remember the name). But it did not work out well. The main reason is that there is no real way to verify the start up's real profit. So u have to blindly trust what they declare. It can be made more transparent using blockchain technology. But, that requires a LOT of extra work.
