The problem is I realised that the sourcing is limited and the project manager says that without more funding we won't be able to finish the project.

Any suggestions and advices from you guys

Thanks a lot
from what I see you will also be another person who will have to resort to ICO or IEO
you can search here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0
has several exchanges that made the ICO and IEO
There are already lot of options nowadays, ICO/IEO is kinda outdated now, if you are familiar with DeFi (Decentralized Finance), some are already conducting their offering on DEXs (Decentralized Exchanges) nowadays.
And another thing is, find a private to fund the project first, event small amount first for starting, but it needed to pitch your project and must take the trust of the investors to invest in your project.

Unfortunately many scammers now are using the exchange platform as their prototype to make this such crowdfunding campaigns and some of them scam people that's why I doubt that the new ones will success especially they say that they don't have fundings to support their project. Maybe the ideal thing to do is they should save some money and comeback when they are fully prepared to operate this plan.

Hello guys/gals
I'm let's say a future CEO of a new crypto project (exchange platform) i built a team including a project manager we did put a business plan everythings fine at the moment were in the development stage as we started it from scratch.

When you started the project, did you not make the budget that would be necessary for the entire project? why did you say that you managed to have a team, how that team was not able to make the budget and realized that it would not have enough funds to finish the project?

are you programming the exchange or have you hired a programmer?

how much money have you invested so far?

The problem is I realised that the sourcing is limited and the project manager says that without more funding we won't be able to finish the project.

Make your business plan transparent and be specific with the amount that you need [every step of the way] and make sure you can back it up. Also, don't forget to create a plan to show what investors would get if it either goes as planned or it doesn't.

You'll probably get better responses if you move this to either the "Project Development" or the "Securities" board [not sure where it fits more].
- Move button is in the bottom left corner of the page.
